My husband, son, daughter-in-law and I spent a very relaxing week here December 27-Jan 3. The property is beautifully landscaped by Shannon the owner and the house is equipped with everything you would possibly need. Shannon is very helpful with questions about the area yet lets you enjoy the house as if it were yours. Cudjoe Key is close enough to Key West to visit often but far enough away to leave the party scene and traffic behind. We used the 2 person hot tub nightly, the pool is not heated but being from Michigan it was "June lake temperature" - you get used to it! The deck was wonderful for drinking that morning cup of coffee as the sun comes up and sunning with a good book in the afternoon. The house is not on what you could call a sandy beach, but Bahia Honda State Park and a few public beaches in Key West are not far away. We enjoyed our stay very much and would not hesitate to return.

We've never stayed in a house before, but this was wonderful. Everything was super clean. The location was perfect and quiet. Owner was very accommodating and helpful. House has binder of best things to see, do, and places to eat. We're ready to move in permanently!

This place was beautiful. We had everything we needed and more. Great kitchen, Views, Sunrises, animal life, beautiful gardens. When you stay, all you need to do is relax. Great info. of areas, places to eat, sites to see, things to do. Great Shower. Big towels. We played Cd`s everyday. HOT TUB WAS FANTASTIC!!!!! There was a full moon, all week,flickering on the ocean, BUTTERSCOTCH the last nite, rising across the ocean. It was AWE!!!!! Owner was wonderful. We visited Key west, did duval crawl, sunset on mallory square, Bahinda state beach park, walked for miles out in the ocean clear beautiful blue water. Walked on old seven mile bridge. Flager`s old railroad bridge . We swam with dolphins at DRC. We also took a glass bottom boat tour, Then went out on a 18 footer with a guide, Dolphins were swimming in the wild, right by our boat. Butterfly museum was awe! Southern most point go there. FOOD was out of this world, fruit in garden(Cut up put in blender, a little afternoon delight.) Go to the No name pub, pizza out of this world Big pine key, We also saw the key deer close up. Mangrove Mama`s The best, seafood, we rolled out the door.Visit small local eats they are the best. We packed way to much, just bring clothes, sun screen ,sun glasses, bathing suit. That`s it . We drove 3300 round trip, we saw it all. I have goose bumps right now thinking about it. We will definitetly go back. Worth every penny. Also take your camera.Clean, great beds,the pictures are just like it is. Wait till you see it, I cried we made to heaven.Not one complaint. The best. This is a lovely home with lots of peace and quiet. The swim tub is delightful, and kept crystal clear. There is good fishing off the dock, and kayaks available. There is a hot tub that appears to be in good working order, however we didn't try it out due to the warmth of the season. Home is in good repair, and very clean. Homeowner is very helpful and pleasant, good source of information for local attractions. Also very accomodating of our pets. We spent our 25th wedding anniversary here, and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Home has DirectTV and wireless internet. Beds are comfortable, towels are luxurious. You wake up in the morning to views of the ocean and a beautiful sunrise through the sliding glass door of the master bedroom. Home is well appointed with everything you need to cook or grill. And lots of extras I wouldn't have expected at a rental property. I was also impressed with the quality of the appliances and accessories. The owner has not skimped in this area! Lots of fruit trees on the property and palms. It is better than pictured.

The only drawback to this property is how far down in the Keys that it is, however it gives you close proximity to Key West without having to stay in the hustle and bustle of that area. But that was also part of the charm. We were looking for solitude, and we found it here. I am quite certain that we will be back!
