This property was beautiful. It had an oustanding view of the mountains from the front porch. The cabin was very clean and fully stocked with anything that you could possibly need. The rental price was very reseaonable considering the amenities. The property was adjacent to a state park which was very convenient. It is; however, in a very rural area and a long drive from any other attractions. A 4 wheel drive or truck is recommended for both entrances to the property. This location is a perfect getaway for relaxation.

Just spent a gorgeous weekend at this cabin with another couple. We had a great time, but do note that it is a bit of a drive from Abingdon or Damascus. We wanted to do our own 'shuttling' for the VC trail and it was a lot of driving to work this out. The driveway IS steep. The cabin was well stocked . . . there was really nothing we needed that we couldn't find. The beds were firm and comfortable.

HOWEVER . . .correction is needed here. It is 2 Queen beds, not King and, really, one shared (but large) bath. There is a second bath on the lowest level, but it is unfinished and was not very 'guest friendly'. We did not use this bathroom . . . it was too far away from the beds . . and not really set up for guests.

Nice property, but do communicate with the owner and make sure that it is what you are looking for.

Me and a few friends stayed at this cabin for a couple days and it was amazing! The house, yard, and view are completely up to par, we had no problems during our stay. The porch is warm during the afternoon, we sat around in T-shirts. It gets cold at night but the sunset is amazing and we saw deer in the yard! Bring 4x4 for the driveway!

If you stay here, wake up early for the sunrise, it's completely breathtaking. The house has everything you'll need for the stay, soft towels, comfy beds, etc. Such a good find! We will definitely rent again.

This is a really great cabin perched on a hillside immediately adjacent to the Grayson Highlands State Park border. The property is very private and nicely landscaped with outside areas for sitting, a campfire, or just staring at a tremendous view looking down on dozens of mountains. You're within minutes of great hiking in either the State Park or the Mount Rogers NRA and also close to both the VA Creeper and New River bike trails. We were there during peak fall foliage but it must also be beautiful in the spring. The cabin is far enough away from towns that you probably won't want to go out at night but if you're happy staying in, this is the place for you.

This is the most beautiful place. You will love it. It is so clean so wonderful, we loved the 4 days we were there. The Cabin is so great. I would highly reccomend this cabin, we saw deer and sat on the porch in July with jackets on at night it was GREAT. This is a great place to have a vacation. We hiked behind the property and you are right in the Forest. So Wonderful. The owners are very very nice.
