The 'Liliy ' cottage is everything & more from the layout to the excellent choice of linens. Truely an upscale version of well managed J.W. Marriott ;Edition' hotel suites. Nat & I loved every moment there, from the exquisite decor, easy Lakeshore drive & beach access to local dining ( me shopping). Karen pays attention to every detail to make guest feel comfortable. The patio & gardens are simply lovely, very well maintained property. We look forward to returning next year with a longer stay in mind.

We have been coming to Saugatuck/Douglas every summer for over 20+ years and this is by far the best seasonal rental in the area. Your host Karen has made sure that every detail has been addressed to make your stay absolutely perfect! The photographs do not do justice to the fabulous home or lovely gardens. From the classic custom interior to the flawless linens, you will be pampered in luxury during your staff. We hope to make many returns to this charming cottage located in the special villages of Saugatuck/Douglas, Michigan.

The Lily Cottage is delightful, and inviting!!! Loving attention has been paid to every
detail of the cottage and gardens. Karen listing very accurately describes what is waiting for you upon arrival. From enjoying the cottage and gardens, to walking the beach, shopping and dining in Saugatuck and Douglas as well as all of the other activities available, this was one of our most relaxing and memorable vacations. When my friend and I walked in we were speechless. It is a beautiful place. It had everything you could want. The cottage was immaculate and very well maintained. The owner left files of things to do and places to eat. They were all spot on. It is a well run operation. What the owner describes, is what you get. Only better!!!!!!!! I would recommend this cottage to anyone. I have inquired about next year already. Lots of attractions, shops, and restaurants. We came back relaxed and back to reality!!!

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at the Lily cottage. Everything was beautiful and very clean (like new!). The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that even four beach towels were provided for our use (fantastic since we forgot and left our own beach towels at home). The location was wonderful as well. It was very convenient to both Douglas and Oval Beach. I can't say enough positive things about the Lily cottage and its owner. This was a fantastic rental experience!

Our Spring stay at the lovely Lily Cottage was a wonderful, luxurious escape. Attention to detail is evident throughout, from the tasteful decor, to the smart placement of bedrooms affording guests privacy and seclusion. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for efficient meal preparation. We enjoyed the beautifully landscaped gardens, and found the patio a great place to relax, dine, and chat amongst blooming azaleas, rhododendron, and the occasional, visiting hummingbird. The Lily Cottage is a charming choice for guests seeking luxury and quiet in a beautiful neighborhood setting.

We were so impressed with the updated style of "The Lily"! The interior and gardens in the back were fabulous. The attention to detail of the interior finish was impeccable. Truly amazing. We can't wait to go back.

All you have to do is open the door and you know that you have chosen "the best of the best"! The cottage is maintained fawlessly, with very tasteful decor and comfortable furniture. The whole atmosphere of the cottage says that your stay will be special. The beach, shopping and great restaurants are all very close to the cottage. We had a very enjoyable time and plan to return and treat ourselves again!!

No need to get on plane for panoramic views of the beach and sunsets. Our stay at the Lily was a dream vacation!
This is our fourth year vacationing there and the cottage is as immaculate as the first year we visited the Lily. The Lily is impeccable with an updated kitchen that is stocked with wonderful cookware & accessories, as well as, updated appliances.
The decor throughout the cottage is tasteful and decorated with fine furnishings, yet very comfortable. The bedding is also what you would find in a 5 star hotel. Bathrooms have spacious showers stocked with quality towels.
The beach is a half block walk. Beach chairs and towels are also provided.
Great for a romantic getaway or vacation Restaurants are all conveniently located. This wonderful place is very deceiving from the outiside...a real "jewel" in the Douglas/Saugutck, Michigan area!
Every winter when we research our summer vacation, we find that the Lily has everything for a perfect vacation minus the air travel.
