We were 2 families going on vacation together (total of 8)and stayed at this beach house. It was perfect for us. Nice view of the beach, EASY walking distance for kids and us (with all of our stuff) and had all the things we needed. Close to a marina for deep sea fishing, close enough to town for other things. There was nothing fancy about it, but we did not want fancy. I would rent it again and recommend it to others.

My wife and I really enjoyed our week here. As the other reviews have said its nothing fancy but then we weren't looking for fancy. It had everything we were looking for great AC, good view of the beach and lots of piece and quite. Its far enough from town that you can relax but close enough that you can go and do things in town. I would recommend this rental to any of my friends.
Fort Morgan house

The house was nice, the view was great. My teenage son and his friend had fun. The area was very quiet and relaxing. My husband enjoyed the deep sea fishing off of Fort Morgan and I enjoyed the outlet mall in Foley. We all enjoyed eating at Lamberts Throwed Rolls Restaurant in Foley.

Beautiful full views of the Gulf (Mobile Bay in the back) and the beach a quick walk away. If you are looking for a restful beach vacation with nothing fancy, this is the cottage for you. Helpful owner.
Rustic!!!

The owner warned us that the home was somewhat rustic and there had been some water damage. Sorry to say that he had not visited in some time as it was deplorable. He immediately refunded our money. Great reactions to a dismall property.
Owner's Response: Yes, Robert E. from New Orleans did call me looking for a last minute reservation to spend a fews day Christmas week. I did tell him that the AC unit went bad and I had ceiling water damage that was being repaired, the contractor told me that the heat/air unit had been re-placed, but not all other remodeling was complete. I told Robert that and discounted the rent. But when he got there he found something else, due to the curcimstances I did agree to give him a full refund. You should see the house now Robert as all remodeling is complete. NEW Heat/AC..NEW Ceilings New Crown Molding NEW Ceiling Fans NEW Light Fixtures NEW Paint and all this is in EVERY ROOM...not just where we had the damage Sorry you decided to reserve the place while it was being remodeled, it's done now and ready for a great summer
