Our 1st trip to the Outer Banks

We didn't know very much about the area and we definitely were extremely lucky to find Cathy and Peter's rental. It has a perfect location and is an immaculate, well equipped, nicely decorated, comfy townhouse. Cathy and Peter are very efficient owners and have thought of everything you could possibly need. They even welcomed us with a gift card for the local grocery store. We were right across from the beach access boardwalk and the pool was just around the corner. We explored the entire Outer Banks area from Corolla to the north down to the Ocracoke Island on the southern end and found Duck to be the ideal, most versatile home base. We tried many of Cathy's dining recommendations and found them to be right on. We definitely would recommend this property to friend and family.

Warmest, Coziest Place in 17 Years

"We have been coming to the Outer Banks for over 17 years and this, by far, is the warmest, coziest place we have stayed in!...The bird (brown with spotted belly) right outside the door sang the most beautiful songs I have ever heard!!! THe BEST part of 'off-season' was having the ocean breezes blow through the screens and falling asleep to the sound of the ocean. Serenity!"

"I can't say enough good things-we had a beautiful holiday at Outer Thanks-the best part was being in this spacious condo which was absolutely immaculate and charmingly outfitted with every comfort imaginable and best of all it was about 30 steps to the beach. I regularly obeyed the bedroom decor's instructions "Listen to the sound of the sea", opening the balcony door and letting that gorgeous salty air in while relaxing on the super comfy bed. Lovely surrounding, private beach, fantastic!

Relaxing Atmosphere

My family just returned a few days ago from our stay @ OTX. The townhome is very comfortable,clean, and close to the beach. The decor was very pretty, and the owner, Cathy, was very accomodating. She responds quickly, and I genuinely felt like it was important to her that we enjoyed our stay and were happy there. I would absolutely recommend this property to a friend or family. The area of Duck is beautiful and there is alot to see and explore....something for everyone. We were a family of five...two adults, and three small children. We loved that we could walk so easily to the beach with our little ones, even our 19 month old was able to walk it ( a little help down the steps)....very happily. We will return.

THE Perfect Beach House!

I cannot even begin to tell you how much my family and I loved this place. First of all, the reserving process with Cathy was so easy. She responds via email and text almost immediately. Any little question was answered and she was super flexible.
As for the house, the accomadations were perfect. We had everything and anything we needed. Every single cooking utensil imaginiable, toys, books, beach toys, boogie boards, porta cribs, movies, airbeds, etc...The list goes on and on. We didn't need to bring as much as we did because they had everything!
The house was super clean and inviting. No problems finding it. It is very private and steps away from the beach. So close that my daughter and I got up every morning (in our PJ's!) and did yoga on the beach! It is that close!
It just had everything we were looking for. We will definitely be back!
