Wonderful home!!

My family and I stayed in the home in late March, 2009. It is a beautiful, wonderful home. Very "home-like" setting. All the ammenities are available in the home and very-well taken care of! Great neighborhood also! Easy access to local stores and highways! There are alligators that bask in the sunlight at the ponds around the neighborhood but had no problems with them. My husband took some great pictures of the "locals"--alligators! Great home and am looking forward to going back in August, 2009!

Feeling Of Being Home

Review Submitted: May 22, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
A group of friends and I rented “The Lord's House" for the weekend of May 1st-May 3rd for our first annual girlfriends’ getaway. The property looked exactly as it was advertized online; it was clean, well-maintained, and more than enough space to accommodate six people comfortably. Our trip was a success thanks to the property being such a hit. It was a great feeling of being on vacation with friends while still having the feel of being at home. Thanks a lot Tandra for all your hospitality, can’t wait to rent the property again.

My grown daughters and I spent a lovely week at The Lords House. Tanya was a pleasure to work with. We were happy to find some of our favorite stores and restaurants were in the large mall nearby.

Beautifully appointed home with all the conveniences of home - washer/dryer, hairdryers, common kitchen appliances, and comfortable beds. Within a half hour of historic Charleston and the beaches. Restaurants, mall, and Walmart are close-by. Much better then a hotel room and very cost effective if traveling with a family or multiple couples.

Great stay!

We had a wedding to attend in Charleston. This house made the perfect place for us to stay when not involved with the wedding party. The accomodations were very nice and we had plenty of room for relaxation. It was much more affordable than the 2-3 motel rooms we would have had to use otherwise.

simply marvelous

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Lord's House in Charleston! It was so much better than staying in a hotel especially since I was sick the last night of our stay! Very clean and well-maintained. Great location-close to Wal Mart and Target (which came in handy) and to a mall and movie theaters and restaurants galore! The bed was comfy and had there been more people, we would have had plenty of space!

We locked ourselves out the very first day we were there and Tandra had it taken care of immediately! She was attentive to all my needs, which sometimes can be alot! I would absolutely recommend it to anyone and, in fact, have mentioned it to my girlfriends as a possible destination for our weekend away!

I was in town for business and didn't get to enjoy Charleston-- again since I was sick the last night!

WE were in the CHarleston area in early February. What a great place to visit. This location was so accessible to all of the points of interest. The location was perfect, the atmosphere that Tandra has created inside and outside the home is very inviting.
THank you for sharing your home with us.

Just what we needed!

Lucky Linda Charleston, Illinois USA
Review Submitted: December 18, 2007 Date of Stay: November 2007
This property was just what we needed to make our stay in Charleston very relaxing. The bedrooms were large and we slept great. It was very clean and everything we needed was provided. We had a bit of a problem finding out way back to the house once we were out of the subdivision, navigating the many streets of the subdivision, but once we had it down we had no problem at all. Easy access to interstate and airport. Stores were super close and many restaurants not far away. I would recommend this instead of a motel.
Owner's Response: Dear Linda,

Thank you so much for your very kind words and review! We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to your next visit to "The Lord's House" Vacation Rental and Retreat. Many Blessings to you and your family!!!

Tandra
