Super, Fantastic, Beautiful, Neat and Recomended

Review Submitted: March 12, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
This is an extremely good, neat and clean, well equipped and highly recommended property. And to top it all, the owner of the property is a perfect gentleman and provided us excellent service and information - it was simply a pleasure dealing with him!! The property was better than what we saw in the picture or we heard from him. The central music system, the games in the TV consol, the fully equipped facilities (kitchen, utilities, washer, emergency requirements, etc, etc) added to the surprise. Very neatly kept inside and out, and situated in a very quiet, secluded spot but at the same time, with no accessibility issues - all sums’ up to a perfect TOP score!! The living room and the master bed room with the attached Jacuzzi were really good!! With 3 families in the house, it was absolutely perfect for us to relax and also allowed ample space and opportunity for the kids to play. Everyone agrees in one voice that the best part of our trip to Lake George was the experience of staying in this house - we are really looking forward to coming back again!! Highly recommended for everyone. Enjoy!!

Home Stay at Lake George

Review Submitted: September 15, 2009 Date of Stay: September 2009
My family and I loved this place! The living room and dining area was quite roomy and the bedrooms were quaint. The surrounding area is nice and quiet and yet the hustle and bustle is only a few miles away! A perfect blend of both worlds. The owner was extremely professional and he followed up in a timely manner for everything. I would certainly recommend this place to other Lake George visitors! =)

Beautiful, clean & huge cottage

We enjoyed a very realxing and cosy getaway in Lake George. The cottage is much bigger then expected and then it looks. Beautiful HUGE deck with BBQ that make it very comfortable to enjoy the outside. Huge garage. The location is ideal, close enough to everything yet you feel so far away!

Thank you Waldo. We definetly will recommend this house to friends and anyone to wants to visit and enjoy Lake George area.

Mother of the Groom Bliss

Review Submitted: August 25, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We stayed at this rental while my son was getting married at nearby Fort William Henry . The owner was the only one we contacted who was willing to rent the house to us when we needed it, versus when everyone else wants to rent theirs out. The listing description was very accurate...well kept, clean, stocked kitchen. There was even a x-box to keep the nervous jitters at bay for the guys. With this big moment in our lives, having a place to relax and enjoy the area was wonderful. We had plenty of room to get half of the wedding party ready without being in each others way. We would recommend this place to everyone who is visitng the Lake George area. It's close enough to everything (20-25 minutes), but far enough to be very peaceful and quite with no traffic congestion and noise.

I had a great time staying at this location. It was very neat and well organized. Although all amenities listed were present, the highlight for me was the backyard and the deck. It is a beautiful and large deck that allowed my friends and I to enjoy it even more. The owner is super nice! I would definitely stay there again and recommended to anyone.

This house is tucked away for privacy yet only 10 miles from Village of Lake George. We visited for the Lake George Winter Carnival February 2009. This house has a very large great room area when you walk thru the front door and huge basement that was great for our teenagers and niece and nephew to hang out. You have total privacy. It has a large two car garage. I love the large treelined driveway coming in and there was plenty of parking for our trucks and trailers. The house is clean and was smoke and pet free (a must for us), well maintained and the owner couldn't be more pleasant.

this is a great location in the Adrondacks, You are close to Gore mountain for skiing, and Lake george for summer activities. This home is very spacious and on a large lot, it is very clean with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. You are near shopping areas and is approximately 4 hours from NYC.

Awesome Place To Stay

Ritz Connecticut
Review Submitted: August 1, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
We stayed at this property in July, 2008 and we absolutely loved it. There were eight of us, my parents, my sister and her friend, my husband and I and our 2 small kids. There was plenty of room for all of us. The pictures for this place do not do it justice. We were pleasantly surprised at how beautiful, big, and new the house was. There was even a speaker system that ran throughout the house so we rocked out to Billy Joel while we were unpacking. The property was very clean and well-maintained. There was something for everyone to do. My sister went tubing, my 3 year old loved the Magic Forest and Six Flags Great Escape, and my parents loved walking/ shopping in Lake George Village. We all spent time and money at the outlets. We enjoyed our dinners at Johnny Rockets and Grandma's Place, but we were not crazy about the Boardwalk Restaurant. We also wouldn't do the Fireworks cruise again. The fireworks were nice, but we would watch them from land next time. When grocery shopping, take the time to drive all the way out to Super Walmart. The nearby Price Chopper was over priced and did not have much selection. (It only had 5 aisles.)
