There aren't enough great things to say about Daniel and this charmer of an apartment! Located on the Ile St Louis, you're breathing history with the 300 year old surroundings... this is us smack in the center of Paris within easy reach of everything and anything! Daniel was a pleasure to work with - friendly, patient, and consumately responsive. The apartment itself was even more beautiful than in the pictures, clean, bright and welcoming. It was such a comfort to "come home" to after a day of sightseeing - even more, not a detail was left unattended. Everything you could need was thought of and here.
The pictures don't show a hidden loft above with two single mattress/beds - a cozy little space best for teenagers or older.
I would (and have!) reccommend this to anyone looking to stay in Paris - location is killer, service was wonderful, and feels like a safe/secure little haven. On the street outside the apartment- a bakery, grocery shop, cheese store, amazing creperie, Italian gelato, and numerous cafes and restaurants!

Live like a Parisien in one of the most sought-after districts of Paris. This perfect pied a terre puts you in the middle of the Ile St. Louis and in the middle of old Paris. Delightful space with high ceilings (it's not large but nothing in Paris at a reasonable cost is), a very accommodating and attentive owner, a charming street within walking distance of almost everything worth seeing in old Paris. This was our first apartment stay in Paris after many hotel stays and won't be our last. Thank you Daniel. On our next trip to Paris we will be contacting you again.

We stayed here for four nights. The apt was in a perfect location where we could walk to everything from Notre Dame,variety of restaurant and shopping. Our two teenagers stayed in the loft bedroom and we enjoyed the beautifully decorated master bedroom. We used the washer dryer combo every day,instructions need to be simplied,and coffee pot otherwise we were enjoying the sites and neighborhood which was truly in a perfect location. Highly recommend cookie shop right downstairs and gelato across the street. If I were ever going to buy an apartment I would look in this neighborhood it was very safe, beautiful and near everything you need. This was our first time to use home away and we would use it again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Paris due largely to Daniel's centrally located apartment on Ile Saint Louis.
Daniel's apartment was as advertised only better!
The apartment was clean, well maintained comfortable stylish and within walking distance of so many of the city's attractions and great neighborhoods.The street that the apartment overlooks is full of great little shops
cheese stores,wine shops,wonderful bakeries and ice cream shops.
We had a lot of fun dropping into these shops on our way home and picking up dinner only a few steps from the apartment.Other evenings we would walk down the street and have a great dinner at one of the 3 or 4 restaurants on the banks of the Seine!.It was a great experience to live like a Parisian for a couple of weeks.We'll probably not use hotels again-and especially here!
I have already recommended this wonderful apartment to our friends and look forward to returning in the future

We spent 11 incredible days on ile St Louis at Daniel;s apartment. It is the perfect location for seeing much of Paris- walking distance to Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, Luxumbourg gardens, the Pompidou Center, the Marais district, Louvre/ Tuileries Gardens, and many other locations. Needless to say, we walked almost everywhere, absorbing the beauty and uniqueness of Paris.

The French people on the ile were friendly and helpful. There are many restaurants, food and gift shops. We loved going to la fromagerie, la patisserie, la boulangerie, la charcuterie. as well as the supermarche.

The apartment was comfortable, with enough room to spread out and relax, except for the small bath.. Daniel was a great landlord, easy to deal with, always ready to help. We received our deposit within 2 days after the trip.

We're ready to go back!

My family of four (me, my husband and two daughters ages 22 and 18) stayed in this apartment for five nights last week (May 14 - May 19). Our stay was perfect. The apartment is clean, very well maintained and looks just as it does in the pictures above. The bed in the bedroom is super comfortable and provided a great place to rest after our long days sightseeing. The upstairs loft is a perfect sleep hideaway for, I would say, kids starting around age 8 all the way up to people in their late 20's or early 30's. The bathroom is tiny but very well appointed. I did not use the kitchen for more than keeping a cold wine bottle and some cheese and chocolate in the refrigerator, but found that it was very well stocked with all of the essentials. Daniel, the owner, responded quickly and informatively to every correspondence from me before our stay. Everything was exactly as he had promised in his confirmations to us. Alla, the property manager, was very good and very cheerful in her brief dealings with us. My only critique/recommendation would be that the towels need to be replaced soon since they are getting quite worn/dingy. The apartment is well situated on Ile St, Louis, within easy walking distance to Ile de la Cite (Notre Dame, Saint-Chapelle), the Latin Quarter, the Marais area, the Louvre. There are two metro stops very close by, which will get you wherever else you want to go. There is an excellent boulangerie a block or so away on Rue St. Louis, and a cheese shop and a wine shop and a grocer. Berthillon, the famous ice cream shop is less than a block away. Amorino, the excellent gelato store is directly across the street. There are many excellent restaurants close by. I really can't say enough about this flat. After a disappointing rental experience in London in the days before we reached Paris, this apartment exceeded our expectations in every way. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to any of my friends. I can't wait to go back to Paris, and when we go back, I can't imagine staying anywhere else. My husband and I rented this little apartment for our honeymoon in April 2012. It was the perfect location on a quiet street on the Ile St. Louis. The transaction from beginning to ending went very smoothly. Daniel was always quick to respond with any questions we had. On "our" street there was a bakery and we had fresh croissants every morning! There also was a little supermarket to buy whatever we needed for the apartment. If you like cheese, there is a cheese shop too along with many other little shops.. Also, we were lucky to find many yummy places to eat authentic French cooking right on our street!! My husband and I highly recommend this apartment for couples visiting Paris!
