A place we hope to visit again!

We are very happy to have found this lovely home. The photos accurately depicted the openness, cleanliness and beauty of the house and property. We are a family of four who travelled with another couple. The layout was perfect as we occupied the comfortable upper level while our friends had their privacy downstairs. One of the best features...the outdoor shower! What a glorious way to freshen up after a day of fun in the sun and sand!
This home is an easy bike ride to Edgartown. Our 10 and 12 year olds had no difficulty. A little farther to South Beach, but we did it ! The backpack beach chairs provided by the renter were very helpful. I must say though, we preferred the beach at Aquinnah. Clearer water and fewer rocks walking into the surf. Edgartown is a wonderful place, but the rest of the island is easily explored by car. We especially enjoyed our lobster dinner in Menemsha.
John was helpful and friendly as we arranged our vacation. We have already recommended the Island to many and would encourage friends to consider this home if they are planning a trip.

This was my families first stay in the Vineyard, and this home was ideal! The home was convenient to the beach as well as to Edgartown. The home was very clean and inviting. I would definately recommend this house and location and we will definately stay again!

Great Edgartown Retreat

We had a fantastic week in Edgartown and the home was relaxing, clean, and comfortable. The location was perfect, allowing us to access beaches, downtown, and bike trails. I would highly recommend this property and am planning on returning next year.

Beautiful home!

What a fabulous vacation! This home is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and in the perfect location. We were within a few minutes drive or bike ride to both State and South beaches. Nice, quiet neighborhood, yet only a couple of mins. from downtown Edgartown for shopping, dining, etc. It is also very close to the bike paths. Would highly recommend this home and cannot wait to go back. Truly one of the best vacations our family has ever taken!

Relaxing home and convenient location

My family and I rented this home for a week in July and enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very comfortable. It is tastefully decorated yet you feel very comfortable relaxing in it. The back deck is great--we spent most of our time out there. Although you cannot walk to Edgartown or the beach, it is a very quick ride to both, as well as to the Stop & Shop. We felt it was a very convenient location. It also felt very private. We would definitely rent this house again.

If you are looking a for a great vineyard house...

This was my first Vineyard rental and I am absolutely hooked on this property! First and foremost, the house was beautiful inside and out! The owners did a fantastic job making the house feel like your home not a rental. Nothing was missed! The location was another plus, close to bike paths, beaches and of course the shops!
I have already made plans to return in 2008 and will most likely return again in 2009!

We recently rented this house and highly recommend it! When we first arrived we were amazed at how beautiful the house was; the pictures really don’t do the house justice. Sometimes when you rent a vacation home, when you arrive it really shows that it is a rental; that’s not the case with this house-it feels like a home-it is extremely clean, has high-end furnishings, beautifully decorated, very modern and well stocked with everything you need. The owner is very pleasant and accommodating with any questions that you may have. The location is also a huge plus because it is so close to the beaches and shopping. You will be extremely pleased if you rent this spectacular home!!!
