GOOD TIMES!

It was a perfect vacation for the whole family and the dog! Gr-r-r-reat fishing! But, apparently one week is not enough, we needed more! Cabin is nice and clean, all appliances are brand new! You feel very cozy being in this cabin, you feel at home. We would recommend this cabin to everybody ( but the truth is : we just want to keep it it all to ourselves). The owners are a real pleasure to deal with -very pleasant and helpful people!Thank you for a great vacation!

Fee Fee Point Road! A Great Escape

Review Submitted: August 11, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
Just wanted to give this Log Home double thumbs up! It was a picture perfect location on the calmer shores of Lake Champlain. I have a very stressful job, that demands a lot of my time, and we were able to get away as a family with two children, enjoy fishing, kayaking, bicycling and making smores on the campfire each night. The owner was beyond accommodating and was a pleasure to meet and spend time with. We met the locals at a wonderful pot luck supper and were enriched with the local history that exists on the islands. The neighbors were great as well. Just friendly and truly wonderful to meet. The Cabin was impeccably clean, and the added bonus of linens and towels provided was a nice touch. If you are looking for a place to rekindle your family and enjoy your kids, this is it!

Beautiful Late Summer Vacation

Visitors from NY Altamont, NY
Review Submitted: September 5, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
Visited the "cabin" for a long Labor Day weekend - 2008. It was more than I expected for a "cabin" in Vermont. The home is equipped with all the amenities you could want in a beautiful setting. The weather was unusually warm and because of this the futon on the loft was not a good choice for sleeping...much too warm. Thought the office could be converted to a bedroom but it is extremely small so we used the mudroom for the teens. They had a great time in their own space. An extra bedroom would have been great but we managed. Everyone enjoyed using the Kayaks and just sitting by the waters edge in the Adirondack Chairs. Thank goodness for digital cameras because I took hundreds of pictures during our stay from the geese on the lake to the amazing sunsets. North Hero is a quaint spot as is most of Vermont and we will return again to visit this area...hopefully we can arrange another get away to the 'cabin' to see the fall foliage. I recommend this spot for anyone who is looking for a quiet get away. You won't find fast food restaurants or chain stores anywhere in site - it's not all commercialized. Lots of antique shops. Spent some time on Isle La Monte at Fiske Farm and St. Ann's Shrine - beautiful spot. No matter where we went there was another scenic view of the VT mountains and Lake Champlain. It was a great get away before the start of school.

Wonderful vacation spot

Review Submitted: July 22, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
We had great vacation staying here with the gorgeous sunsets and view of the lake with the expansive windows. The setting is great and quiet. The kayaks were used daily along with biking of the island. Fishing is plentiful in the lake. The log cabin is very nice. Thanks for a relaxing and fun vacation.

We had a WONDERFUL time. Everything was great. Very relaxing! The only big let down was the fact you can not swim in the water right in front of the house. It is all weeds. But I will say the sunset makes up for it! UNREAL! There is a place 5 minutes away that you can drive to if you want to go swimming. Besides that, you could not ask for anything more!
