We had a wonderful stay at your pied-à-terre. What a stunning space! Thoroughly enjoyed Montreal as well. Hope to be back soon and we will definitely stay in the flat again!

Hi Dawne:
Just a short note to tell you that we really enjoyed our stay at La Maison Berthelet. The apartment was really quaint - the stone walls - the beamed ceilings - the lighting really created an atmosphere that would be very difficult to duplicate elsewhere. Googling la Maison Berthelet's history added to the appreciation, charm and enjoyment! What a great location!! It was all we had hoped for and more. We've stayed at several VRBO places throughout in Europe, but none were as completely well furnished or as completely supplied as your apartment. We will certainly tell our friends about your Montreal apartment should any wish to visit the city.
Thanks again for making your apartment available.
Best regards,
Stan Hawryluck

Our time spent at La Maison Berthelet surpassed our expectations. The decor is so tasteful and welcoming. Everything about this place was pleasant. The location is perfect. We are familiar with Montreal and just wanted to come back and visit and this was surely a better choice than staying in a hotel. We dined in more than expected because we just loved being there. The comfort level was outstanding. As others have posted on their comments, the owner was a delight to deal with. We hope to return in the future.

my wife and I enjoyed our 3 days in old montreal at this apartment. the flat is clean, big, and convenient. We were 4 blocks to the metro, and less than 3 blocks from great restaurants and shops. The bed was big and comfortable. the bathroom was clean and stocked. the kitchen was small, but in good shape. it included a washer/dryer which can come in handy.

We could not have chosen a better place to stay in
Montreal! We chose to not rent a car and walked
everywhere and are sooo happy with that decision.
The best way to see Old Montreal is on foot.

The location was perfect for some of the best
restaurants, shopping and even the bike rental
place (which we highly recommend) was a block
and a half.

We loved falling asleep each night to the clip clap
of the horse carriages below.

We look forward to coming back soon and miss it
there already.

We stayed during the International Jazz Fest with our two daughters. The loft is quite lovely and was absolutely perfect for our needs. The apartment is ideally located near many fabulous restaurants in Old Montreal. We parked our vehicle upon arrival and drive only once to visit Parc Safari. We walked to Chinatown, nearby markets, the festival, underground shopping, and the most popular tourist attractions with great ease. We loved the unique blend of old-world charm, modern conveniences and lots of sunlight in an excellent corner location. My daughters were very comfortable and despite it's cozy size there was ample room in the apartment for everyone to have personal space. The washer and dryer were great for traveling with a preschooler and the compact kitchen contained everything we needed within arm's reach. An added bonus was the stellar music collection available to guests. We were thrilled with our stay and are only disappointed the apartment is not available to us in August when we return. We highly recommend this unique residence for your stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Charming, elegant, rustic and perfectly located in heart of Old Montreal. We went in the winter and it was perfect, and there is a nice bakery up the steet for a morning walk and bakery pick up. Fire place adds a cozy winter touch. Owner was extremely pleasant. A definate gem.
