We had a wonderful trip to keystone, the Red hawk lodge was very nice and clean. The condo was very homey and the beds very comfortable. We were just steps from the gondola. We visited the pool and hot tub how wonderful after a great day of skiing. We also went to kickapoo tavern for an appetizer and drinks. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone taking a trip to keystone. Oh don't forget to visit the Outpost and stop at the bar to say hi to Marty, the bartender he makes the best bloody marys. Have fun and see you next time!
Owner's Response: Hi Squeeky,
Glad to hear you had a great time and enjoyed sleeping on the comfy beds. We agree, Kickapoo Tavern is a fun place to kick back and unwind after a busy day. Thank you for the review and we look forward to renting to you again. Tom & Christy

I primarily chose this condo for convenience to a ski lift. Although not a true ski-in/ski-out, it is just one block from the River Run gondola (an easy walk through the $25 per day parking lot), and best I could tell, the Red Hawk complex is the closest accomodation to the lift. We took advantage of the convenience by coming "home" for lunches or taking breaks. With Keystone's night skiing, we got in all the skiing we could handle yet felt unrushed as we could relax and recharge in the comfort of the condo.

The location is also convenient for walking to the restaurants and shops of the River Run area.

The condo layout is great, with plenty of room in the bedrooms, baths, and the kitchen. This unit is closest to the elevator, which is nice when walking in ski boots. The basement parking garage is a plus. We enjoyed meeting other skiers a few evenings in the 2 outdoor hottubs. Colorado steaks taste great cooked on the patio gas grill.

The management company, SkyRun, is first class, and has access to great discounts on lift tickets and rentals.

I highly recommend this condo, unless you want to go when I do!

We've stayed several places in River Run but this condo in Red Hawk is our favorite. Such a short walk to the lifts and restaurants, although this year we brought most of our food with us. And this 2-bedroom is so spacious compared to those in other ski towns! Wonderful time and location.

Had a great time at the condo! It was clean and conveniently located within walking distance of River Run and the gondola which made it nice not to have to drive everywhere and look for parking. Cute condo and comfy beds! Great view of the sunrise and mountains.
My husband and I plan to stay there again for the wine festival in August.

We were at Red Hawk during the blizzard that hit Colorado just before Christmas. What a fun place to be snowed in! It snowed lightly for several days, and with the gondola and shops within walking distance, we didn't need to drive anywhere. The night skiing was a lot of fun too. The condo is beautiful and has all the comforts of home. We can't wait to go back!
