We really enjoyed our week on the lake in this very nice home. We had everything we needed and more. Our hosts, Sue and Scott, were easily accessible if we needed them or had questions. The home is even better than the pictures portrayed and we would wholeheartedly recommend this vacation home to our friends. We had a very relaxing vacation and went to many of the nearby towns and restaurants also. People in this area are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!! Thank you, Scott and Sue.

Great Lake Vacation

If you are looking for a great vacation on Boone Lake in Eastern Tenneese this is the place. My son and his family came down from Akron and My wife and I came up from Florida. My wife and I liked getting up early with a cup of coffee and sit on the front screened porch. We would see the little ducks swimming by. It is so quiet. Sue and Scott are really great people. The house is so comfortable. Everything you would ever need is in the house. Also you can swim from the dock, boat ride. Our Great grandkids had a ball fishing from the doc. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer. Thank you Sue & Scott.

The home was right on the lake, perfect location for swimming, fishing, & boating. Inside was beautiful with all you could need for your stay. Our favorite part of the stay was the screened-in front porch. It rained a good part of our visit, but we were able to still sit outside and enjoy the lake view.

100% recommend!

Had a great time

Had a great time with the wife ids and in laws. The house was clean when we arrived and we did not have to o anywhere else to enjoy our days at the lake. We all enjoyed taking a few steps to the water and jumping to cool off and relax. It was the first time we rented a house where we actually saw the owners. Scott just stopped by on the second day and made sure we were comfortable and to see if we needed anything around the house. He also talked with me on Saturday when we arrived to make sure I could breathe. I have severe allergies to pets and Sue told me there would be pets 2 weeks before we would visit. Usually it doesn matter if someone cleans, I still cant breathe. That was not the case I had no reaction and enjoyed the vacation to the fullest. The house was immaculately cleaned. Bays Mt. is a must see. Good for kids and serious mountain bikers. Mona Lisas Gelato in Johnson City is delicious and addictive.

Best Vacation Ever!!

our week at this lakehouse was nothing short of excellent! All the comforts of home were right there! The huge screened in back porch was my favorite part. I could stay up there with my little one and let him crawl freely and watch my husband and kids down at the dock swimming and fishing. The beds were incredibly comfortable and we all slept like champs. Beautiful views, lots of activities, or just sitting and listening to the fish jumping out of the water, I loved every minute! These pictures on this site give it NO JUSTICE- It's so much nicer than it looks here. Can't wait to come again next year.

This home on Boone Lake was exactly as described. The house is well maintained and our hosts, Scott and Susan were great! The house has easy access to restaurants and grocery stores. The price was reasonable. The large docking area was one of the best features of this home. As with any lake the weekend on the lake was busy, but during the week, we were one of the few boaters on the lake. We have traveled many places and I will say that the people of Johnson City/Gray are the most kindest, friendliest people I have encountered. I would highly recommended this rental for anyone who wants a relaxing vacation! It was great! Shelly, Louisville, Ohio

A Wonderful Experience

Our family (8 of us, all adults) stayed at the lake house during Bristol's NASCAR March 2009 weekend. We loved it here, and hated when we had to leave to go home! Everything was in clean, perfect order--inside and out--and it was just a joy to stay here. The outdoor firepit and the indoor fireplace were even supplied with cut firewood.

And Sue and Scott were great to deal with. Scott checked on us, and also suggested area-specific restaurants for us. Three of them we tried and thoroughly enjoyed--Cootie Brown's, Dixie Barbeque, and Jack's City Grille.

We would definitely recommend this lake home to a friend, provided their stay didn't conflict with our plans to return! We definitely will come back.

Thanks so much, Sue and Scott!!

If you want a peaceful beautiful place to stay this is it.We were lucky enough to rent this condo for a long weekend for a family reunion.Very very clean, close to everything yet far enough away from the big city. The sun rise in the morning over the lake on the porch is priceless! We are truly looking forward to going back there.

Excellent Vacation

My family and I vacationed here during the second week of July ’08.
The property was easy to find and was far better looking than the online pictures (which as we all know is very surprising) Scott and Sue checked on us the next day just to make sure we were pleased with the house, we were!
The master bedroom is upstairs and the two other bedrooms are downstairs. Everything was in very good condition and we were not wanting for anything during our stay and that includes cable and internet access.
The area has about anything you can imagine to include boat rentals and fantastic dining (Logan’s Roadhouse was best for us)
My only addition would be a TV in the master bedroom, that’s just me. However without the television I must admit I got some great sleep!
Thank you Scott & Sue for letting us visit your lovely home and we look forward to seeing you again.
