Incredible place. Came here on our honeymoon. Beautiful grounds and cottage even in December in Ohio. :) Hope we can come again some time. Would even bring some kids when we have them. Plenty of space and privacy, hot water, glasses, utensils, etc. Well furnished and positively beautiful. Close enough to town to be able to make it to the store if you need to. Couldnt be more pleased with our stay. Owners very easy to deal with and delivered exactly what is promised.

This place was neat as a pin, no extra stuff stored from the owner's primary property.
The one time I needed something, the owner was there in 30 minutes to get it out for me, even though I had asked for it for the next day.
The view of the lake is actually much better than the photos on the listing can convey - a great view.
I had, at one point, thought about bringing my 87 year old mother, but it's a good thing I didn't. She would not have been able to get up the sloped gravel walk.
I got exactly what I needed, a quiet place to rest and regroup.

Wonderful, tranquil and well appointed cottage. I stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Restaurants and grocery store very close by. Area is very scenic and neigborhood is quiet. Beautiful backyard setting for barbq's. This cottage can be used for family vacations, business or school purposes or just plain solitude. Judy met me at the cottage and was very friendly and helpful. A very lovely person. Judy and Gary have bent over backwards to make sure that anything a tenant would need was there. It was so comfortable, I found it hard to leave for the day and after a couple days it felt like it was my home. I would stay here again and this cottage is highly recommended.

My wife Sandy and I traveled back to Ohio from California and wanted to see as many old friends as possible in a short two day stay. The cabin was PERFECT!!! Very clean, well stocked and VERY cozy!!! The hosts Judy and Doug were most accomodating even after we doubled the number of people from two to four upon arrival. We travel on a regular basis and would recomend a stay here to anyone. This lake house was very clean and up to date with a breath taking view. It is located in a great area of town with lots of things to do. We enjoyed activities during the day and fishing in the afternoon. There are many restaurants located within a mile or less for an evening out or a pizza delivered in. Judy was very flexible and easy to work with. She gave us lots of good recommendations that only locals know. We enjoyed our stay very much. This house has supplies that you need so don't have to run by the store. Very good cable channel selection and internet was fast. The washer/dryer is new and full size. Thanks again Gary and Judy for letting us enjoy your little slice of heaven. Tigger enjoyed the game of fetch. We never stay anywhere without our angels so pet friendly is a requirement for us.

I was told about this website from a co-worker. I thought I check it out because my boyfriend and I were going on a trip to OH.
To my delightful surprise I was able to find a few listings in the area that we were going to be visiting... then I found 'Peaceful Lakefront Cottage'.
I called and spoke to Judy, she was kind and very helpful' and was quick to communicate back to me regarding our stay and questions, etc.
We arrived on 3/14, and it was perfect. I almost couldn't believe it, seriously! Judy and Gray both stopped by the cottage when we arrived to greet us. It made us feel so very welcomed. They mentioned some local places to check out and eat. Also there was a welcome paper with their phone numbers and other needed information.
The cottage was stunning and packed with just about everything we needed- except for food- but everything else was there. It felt like home, which was so lovely compared to any hotel. It was relaxing, super clean, quiet, etc. The pictures on the this website do not do this cottage justice, looks even better in person!
My boyfriend and I want to come back and stay again soon. Everytime I get the chance I tell people about this website and the lovely cottage we stayed at on our trip to OH.
Judy and Gary- Thank you so much for your warm welcome. This was our first trip together as a couple, and it was made so memorable thanks to your beauitful cottage. I will appreciate this memory always.

Well, there is so much to say about how wonderful this property is. I came to the area on business and decided to stay in a vacation rental instead of a hotel. It was the best choice i could ever make. The home had absolutely everything a family could need during their stay. The view of the lake is so peaceful. It was very difficult for me to leave because it was so cozy and comfortable. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the kitchen was more than equipped for cooking the most elaborate meals. I would definately reccomend this house as a rental over a hotel anyday! The location is perfect, you have to pass a large supermarket on the way to the home so picking up food to prepare is so easy. Also its close to everything from recreation, to restarants, to stores, and easy access to the freeways. I cannot wait to come back again this summer to be able to enjoy the lake.

This cottage is a real paradize. We appreciated the place around, the calm and the equipments. It's a good choice for people who need to sleeping and resting. Judy is very friendly. We are pleased to our holidays where we spend a very good time.
