Very nice stay in Vancouver, highly recommended

The owners, Nancy and Ken, were very nice and they even stocked the fridge with milk, juice and a few cans of pop. Ken was so nice that he went out of his way to get a bike small enough for our 5 years old. The one bedroom unit itself was nicely decorated and there was also a pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Our kid loved the fireplace. The kitchen was also quite well equipped and stocked. Unlike some other units we were interested in, underground parking was also included. The location was very convenient - the Skytrain station was just half a block away and the Aquabus going to Granville Island was about 5 to 10 minutes walk. Grocery shopping was a bit too much of a walk for us with a 5 years old, then again it was just a few minutes of driving. We also enjoyed the pool and the Jacuzzi, for the few times we used them, we were the only ones around. The area was surprisingly quiet considering the main street location and the proximity of the Skytrain station (in fact we never heard any noises from the Skytrains). We stayed there for a week and highly recommend the place.
If we have to complain, it would be the occasional "tick-tick-tick" noise made by the fridge which kind of scared my kid in the middle of the night. He ended up sleeping with his mom in the bedroom with me sleeping in the living room. Frankly, the noise didn't bother me at all, then again, a 5 years old could have a more active imagination.

Owner's Response: Sorry to hear your son was bothered by the fridge . We will make sure to show future guests how to turn off the icemaker.
