The place had a heated pool, with a waterfall that was wonderful. It was quiet there, yet so close to everything. No need to use the car once we were there. The place was within walking distance of all the restaurants, shops, and nightclub. It was great to go out, and have a short distance to walk home, without driving. It was an ideal place, and I would certainly go there again.

I stayed at Ed Lugo Resort with four other friends for about one week at the end of February 2008. I was very impressed with the property, particularly the pool/spa/hammock area in the back yard. The landscaping is absolutely beautiful, the grounds are clean and private and the location of the resort is within walking distance of several shops, clubs, bars and restaurants.
The owner greeted us upon arrival, ensured that all of our needs were met and went above and beyond what was expected by proving us with refreshments by the pool side and fresh fruit in the morning. He even recommended certain local attractions for us as this was our first trip to Fort Lauderdale.
We stayed in the smaller of the two homes on the property, but even so there was plenty of room for entertaining, sleeping and preparing meals, snacks and drinks. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and we felt safe walking around town in the evenings.
I would highly recommend this resort to a group of friends out to have fun in the sun to a couple looking for a romantic getaway. The quality of the services we received for the price paid far exceeded our expectations!

This place is really like having a private butler, Ed the owner took care of us personally, he always had bottle of water next to the pool, sodas and sometimes even fruits, this house has bose sound system, big plasma tv, incredible clean and a lot of little touches like orchids, oreo cookies, fresh apples and chocolates, This property is incredible, the pool to die for, we never wanted to get out of the pool, it is heated and the waterfall give you an incredible massage .The tropical shower in the back next to the hot tub !!!!!!!!!! A dream come thru, having a shower looking at the stars at night.

I just returned from a one week stay at this property. The house is beautiful, especially outside. The grounds are impeccably manicured, and the house is well decorated. Between the beautiful surroundings and the five star service we received, I felt like a rock star on vacation.
You can tell Ed loves running the resort in the service he delivers. He noticed that we had been moving the lounge chairs to sun in the morning so he began doing that for us every morning before we woke. He noticed the type of music we were listening to and changed the music played outside immediately. In the morning and afternoons he brought out an iced bucket poolside full of soft drinks and bottles of water. He also brought us fresh fruit and nuts and had snacks and drinks waiting for us upon arrival.
I am surprised by the negative review posted. Ed is the type of the person that would do anything reasonable to make a guest comfortable. I've stayed at several resorts and hotels in the Ft. Lauderdale area, and this is only place I'll stay from now.

It's a suburban small house full of dust, humidity, the Internet doesn't work and really small beds. Don't believe the pictures !
And also they won't refund you if you don't stay there !
It's just desgusting !
The swimming pool is common to another property, so it's not private.
And worst of all, the owner said that if he rented the place, he would refund us for those days. I checked on the internet and the next weekend (4 days) were booked, but we've got no refund !

This guest was upset because after check in and stay in the property for four hours wanted me to cancell his stay and reinburse him the money, I think he wanted to save money staying with some friends after he had make the reservation. He showed up in my place complaining about everything. We do our reservation ussually months in advance, if for any reason a guest doesn't want to stay we can not rent the property right away, I did place the property available again, but did not rent for those days, it is so sad that a person because did not understand cancellation policy try to said bad things about a place so beautiful and so clean, I personally check the property before any guest stay to make sure the houses are in top condition, this guest try in other web sites to said bad things about my property, other guests who had stay with us fight back with the good reviews regarding my property. Now he is really angry because every guest who had stay with us were really happy and have done great reviews . Now is trying here to damage our five star rating in most of the reviews . This guest even said that I charge his credit card five times, I had to call my bank right away, of course it was not true, that never happen, also mention that my beds are too small, the beds in this house are queen size bed, I do not think queen size bed are small beds. Please read other reviews in other web site regarding own little, exclusive and intimate place in Florida. You will love it, I, am here to make your vacation the best one.
