Beautiful condo!

We stayed there for 2 weeks. Beautiful place, does not feel like a rental at all, but feels like a very loved home. It has everything you need, beach chairs, boards, internet access. Great location: short walk to the village's shopping center, trail to the Anini beach (about 5 min, a little steep but that's a nice exercise). Anini beach is my favorite. Would stay there again and recommend to my friends. Sunita was nice and helpfull. She gave us advice on the best beaches and her faivorite places to eat, provided maps with instructions on how to find the condo.

Excellent Condo!

This was our first time to stay at a condo and now that we have, we would prefer this condo over a hotel.

The condo is fully equipped with a full kitchen, things for the beach and even books to read. My husband and I had an adventure searching and trying out some of the local tropical fruits. It was nice to have the condo to bring them to and just eat in the little patio. We ate out only three times during our 5 day stay and I KNOW we saved a ton of money. The coolers were wonderful to have for our drinks and picnic items.

I just wished the pool was heated because after the nice steep hike from Anini beach, it would have been nice to relax in the pool.

I would highly recommend this condo to family/friends. In fact, we are looking forward to coming back next year.

Sunita and Jaime were incredibly nice to deal with!!!

Thanks,
Glenn/Regina

Wonderful Stay

The condo was very nice, decorated and furnished in a style appropriate for its location. Very comfortable and inviting.
Great location, near several beaches, nice resturants, and hiking and scenery. I would definitely send my friends there.
We travelled with two kids (13, 10) and the condo was plenty spacious for all of us.
Personally I enjoyed the gas grill and well equipped kitchen which saved a few bucks. The grocery store is less than a mile I would say.
I also loved the many paperback books which were there for leisure reading.
The kids were thrilled that there were some beach chairs and toys available since you can't effectively travel with them, but they sure are nice to have.

Great Place in Princeville

Review Submitted: August 17, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
We stayed at the condo the last week of July 2008 and would like to share our experience. This is the first time that we rented a condo from someone not referred by a friend. My wife was concerned about giving out our credit card number to a stranger. I shared this concern with Sunita, and she was very understanding and was not pushy about it. She offered to provide references for us to call. A bit later I found out that you can register your trip with www.homeaway.com and they will refund up to $5000 if it turns out the rental is not legitimate. This boosted our confidence about renting this place. Of course, you should read the fine print, etc. for yourselves.

As it turns out, we found nothing to worry about; dealing with Sunita was very easy. She’s straight forward and gives accurate information. The place was roomy. We have two teenagers, and they like to have their own space. We gave them the master bedroom which is large enough to accommodate an inflatable queen size bed in addition to the king size bed that’s already there. It also has its own bathroom. This suited our teenagers perfectly (no need to share a bed, plus space to hang out and read or watch TV away from mom and dad).

The condo comes with full kitchen, BBQ, utensils, blender, and even a rice cooker! We were surprised to find beach chairs and towels and several boogie boards to take along to the beach. We were very comfortable there.

There’s Foodland, a supermarket, about a mile away. Food on Kauai is more expensive than on the mainland; cooking your own meal can save some money.

We liked our stay very much. This place is not on the beach so if you’re hoping to just walk out the front door to be on the beach, this place won’t suit. If you are looking for a north shore place that’s close to several great beaches for snorkeling and the Na Pali coast, this is a great place.

Home away from home

I have a rigourous routine day in and day out. My family and I needed a vacation and we decided Hawaii was the destination. I searched the net and found this ad for a condo rental. I had never been to Kauai nor any other Hawaiin island.
I was very impressed with the Princeville area. It is an uppercrust resort area, surrounded by lush greenery, walking distance to the beach and village type atmosphere. The hotel was about a mile from the condo and the village shops were less than a mile. It was like being on Cape Cod, Hawaiin style.
The condo was did not feel like a condo, it had more of a cottage type feel. Very clean. The aromas from the garden enhanced the surreal atmosphere while the sun warmed the room from the upper windows.
Every one was very neighborly. Property manager and staff are always available and willing to answer questions. My son is in a wheelchair and the property manager made special parking accomodations for us.
One evening I took a walk with the property manager and was able to pick fresh flowers and fresh native fruit That evening we lit the grill and enjoyed our solitude.
Most important, after a day of excursion on the island one will be greatful to return to a hot shower, stove, wash machine,
t.v. microwave in sum: a place that feels like home.
My vacation allowed me to retreat and revive. I highly recommend recommend!!!

The condo is beautiful, peaceful, well decorated and very well equipped (anything you might need away from home – even Internet access). We even had the chance to use the wave-boards during our trips to the beach. Our stay in Puamana 25A was definitely the best, very pleasant, fun with easy access or very close to diverse activities such as golf, zip-linenning, restaurants and of course "the beach". We enjoyed our stay a lot and without any hesitation we would love to stay again in the same condo in our next trip to Hawaii / Kauai. The condo owners, Jaime and Sunita, are wonderful and very friendly people who made every effort to make our stay very enjoyable. I give this condo a score of 200 out of 10. Last but not least the close proximity of a small shopping centre to the condo made our stay very relaxing with easy access to groceries and munchies.

This condo is really a great find!

We really felt at home in this luxurious condo with all the amenities the owners put to make our stay enjoyable. We had everything we needed, and more. There was a coffee maker, blender, washer and dryer, CD player, two TVs with DVD and VCR, a newly installed AC, beach chairs, an air bed, iron, etc. etc. etc., and even toys for us and the kids to play at the beach (2 surf boards and sand castle toys).

The description and maps provided to us by Jaime and Sunita where fantastic and accurate. Everything was better than what we imagined. The place is luxurious and well maintained. We had easy access to the pool, internet, restaurants, beaches, and the golf courses.

It was the perfect place to stay with my whole family in a private and quiet location near the beaches. We will go again next year.

We stated in this condo for 12 days celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary. This is a quiet, peaceful condominium complex. The condominium is beautifully decorated. We had access to beach path even though construction is still ongoing. Loved Kauai, loved our stay. Thank you Sunita for all your assistance.
