Our first Family Vacation.

My four Girls Wooster, OH
Review Submitted: August 21, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
The Condo is absolutely beautiful.

Let us first say, that our girls are ages 4 (twins) and 8. Our oldest daughter is handicapped, so the private secure parking garage, elevator, and wide hallways, both outside and inside of the condo were exceptionally accomodating.

The photo's and write up of the condo and Bella Lago don't do it justice.

The Condo is decorated beautifully in quality tropical furniture. The Master bed is very comfortable, the quadruple master shower with oversized spray head and hand held shower are luxurious to say the least. The oversized triple windows in the master with the double sliding doors to the lanai allow plenty of light and also plenty of privacy with the wnidow treatments.

The wall of glass with sliding doors in the oversized family room has a great view of the city off in the distance and the private pond with water fountain below.

Oh and don't forget the ceiling fans in every room and the lanai and the special lighting in the condo is fantastic for night time. You really feel like you are in a first class suite.

The kitchen is as good and clean as our home kitchen, quality appliances and a great coffe maker and toaster.

The building and grounds at Bella Lago is probably the nicest on Ft Myers Beach. Lots of tropical plants that are well groomed, tons of palm trees, a very very nice swimming pool with nice cast aluminum tables and chairs and plenty of chase lounges. The bathrooms at the pool are secured with locks as is the gated pool entrance, so you don't have locals or people from other properties coming over to use the facilities.

In fact where Bella Lago is located and the landscaping gives this place a secluded hideaway feel. The beach across the way through the private beach access is nice, but two blocks up is the Holiday Inn beach which is very nice and has a Open Air Tropical Pinchers restaurant and bar on the beach, two chairs and an umbrella rental was only $20. The Beach two more blocks up at the Outrigger is even nicer and it features a cozy tropical beachfront bar.

You also have to try the Fish House restaurant just up the street (north) behind the CVS and small strip mall. It is the ideal beach bum restaurant and cocktail bar overlooking a marina.

The secluded private feeling of Bella Lago was so relaxing and the perfect location for us, the south end away from the extreme touristy end of Ft Myers Beach made for the perfect relaxing vacation.

You will enjoy this condo.

Almost Paradise

We have stayed at the Condo 3 times and we love it. The beach is right across the street, the Marina is within a very comfortable walk.

On my way to the Marina to rent a boat I stopped to view the sites of the boats in the Marina when to my delight I saw a Momma Manatee and her two babies, It was really cool. The bay has all kinds of wildlife, manatee, dolphin etc.

We love the decor in the condo it is so warm and relaxing. We can't wait until our next visit.
Owner's Response: One activity we highly recommend is to rent a pontoon boat from the nearby marina to cruise in Estero Bay. We enjoy viewing all kinds of wildlife including many birds (egrets, ibis, blue heron, and osprey), dolphins, and manatees. We often stop at a beach for a picnic lunch, to swim, and to look for shells. The boat ride is enjoyable for all ages from great-grandma to our grandchildren!

August 2009

We stayed in this unit in early August. The place was neat, well furnished, and very clean. The complex is beautiful and in a neat area perfect for a stroll around the marina or golf course or down the street to the shops, restaurants, and the ice cream cafe. We enjoyed the variety of movies, books, and games that were in the entertainment center. Having the WiFi was a huge plus. The screened lanai with ceiling fan was a delightful place to sit (or nap in the zero gravity chair!). The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The huge walk-in master shower was very relaxing, and the GEProfile applicances were great. We loved the location on the quiet end of Ft. Myers Beach. The street crossing to the beach was very convenient to the unit, but we were disappointed with the beach itself. It was very wide with tidal pools that you had to zig-zag around. Maybe it's that way only at at certain times of the year (not sure), but we had to hop in the car to get to a nice beach. Our favorites were at Naples and Captiva Island. The secure garage parking was very nice as was the garage closet with all the beach chairs, toys, etc. Made it super handy to pack up and go. We loved the workout room and outdoor grill. The pool was wonderful, and having the unit right nextdoor to the pool was super convenient. All of the beach and bath towels were very nice. The pillows and beds in the bedrooms were comfy.
Owner's Response: In our condo we provide beach towels, beach chairs, a beach blanket, and a cooler for your beach adventures. Some days when we're feeling lazy, we opt to go to the Holiday Inn which boasts the widest beach on the island. There we rent cabanas with comfy lounge chairs and enjoy lunch at the beach restaurant. For the thrill seekers there are rentals of jet skis and parasail rides. Fort Myers Beach has seven miles of beautiful white sand beaches from Bowditch Park and the large public beach and fishing pier (Lynn Hall Park) at the north end to Newton Park at mid-island, and then cross Big Carlos Pass to Lover's Key on the south end. There are also many public beach access points along the way. The variety of beautiful beaches is endless.....

Fort Myers Beach Condo

Review Submitted: July 29, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
My family and I came to Fort Myers in June 2009 to see my brother perform at the Broadway Palm theatre. We enjoyed our stay at "Almost Paradise" very much. We felt right at home. There was plenty of room for the four of us plus friends. We enjoyed the pool at the complex and also the DVD collection in the condo. It was also nice to have parking in the garage and the storage room for beach chairs. The consierge service was very good. We would rent this condo again if we were to go to Fort Myers again.
Owner's Response: The concierge service is another amenity of staying in our condo. She is available to answer questions and/or concerns during your stay.

My family and I stayed the week of July 13 in this wonderful condo. Everything that you could possibly think of was available to us; games, movies, dining information and attractions. The condo itself is beautiful. The weather was a little on the hot side but the sun shone every single day. We would definitely stay here again!!.
Owner's Response: Everything has been provided for your family to have a wonderful vacation in "Almost Paradise!"

Our family stayed it this condo for 10 days in June. The condo is beautiful. The owners have done a great job of providing everything you need.

We really enjoyed being at the quiet end of Ft. Myers. Our girls enjoyed the pool which they had to themselves most of the time. We enjoyed evening walks on the beach.

Thanks for providing us with a wonderful place to stay. It is "Almost Paradise".

Great choice for relaxing or staying on the move

Hackers and Beach Bums Greenwood, IN
Review Submitted: March 30, 2008 Date of Stay: February 2008
This unit is beautifully decorated, thoughtfully stocked with nearly anything imaginable for relaxing enjoyment, cooking, or entertaining guests. The view from the lanai is near perfect and turns shady once the morning sun passes over. The traffic and commotion on this part of the island is much more subdued than the frenzied pace on the north end of Ft. Myers Beach.
We found more appealing restaurants in the area than we could try in a month's time.

The beach variety available is endless from the north end all the way to Barefoot Beach by Bonita.

We could go out the front door and walk to the beach, the golf course, several restaurants, and some shopping.

The owners have gone to great lengths to make the stay extremely enjoyable, very comfortable, with boundless information on things to do and places to go.

I have nothing to say but good things relating to my stay at the Fort Myers Beach Condo. The Condo was spotless, impeccably decorated and virtually everything was provided. The entire experience was very positive and I am already trying to clear a week next year so that I can book again.
