The condo is a great place to vacation. Tenney Mountain is a family orientated place with friendly service and reasonable rates. This condo is located on a small cul-de-sac and has beautiful views. It is a little walk to the lifts and base but the close location gives you the option of going back for lunch or a rest by the fire. The condo is very comfortable and equipped with all the things you need for a great vacation. Would highly recommend.

Awesome home to rent

What a nice house to rent! We had 3 families together to celebrate New Years and we hope to rent it again next year. The house was very spacious and had everything we needed! It was very cozy! What a nice view of the mountains. We had tons of snow so it was very pretty outside as well. We were all happy with the house. Thanks Marcia & Tony for a great weekend! Had prepared a detailed summary of how bad this rental experience was but did not send it right away-hoping time would heal the scars. Alas-still feel just as strongly -wouldn't recommend this property rental to anyone. The short story: Rented this place for ourselves and family to stay in while we participated in and attended our daughters wedding being held at a nearby property (which was lovely by the way-so no need to settle for less). Housekeeping had not showed up after the previous renters so we arrived the night before the wedding to filth and piles of dirty sheets and towels...notified the owners who could not arrange cleaning that evening for us but they "graciously" wavered the $150 cleaning fee so we got to clean it ourselves-launder towels and sheets, vacuum, clean up and take out garbage, etc. Just what we wanted to do the morning our daughter was getting married. Some of our family members had to make last minute arrangements to stay elsewhere. The owners felt they reconciled the situation adequately by apologizing and offering a 10% discount on our next stay. I can't stress enough-we felt this was the worst travel experience we have ever had.
Owner's Response: After 81/2 years of renting my beautiful mountain home, I finally met up with an unfortunate incident that I could not fix: my cleaning company had not shown up to clean and would not fix the error even after spending a lengthy conversation explaining to them the error was on their part. My backup cleaner was not answering their phone either. I spent the entire evening calling other companies in the area but no one was answering on a Friday. I now have a more accommodating cleaning company that I can rely on to go in and clean no matter what. I am not sure why my guest had to clean sheets as I always have 2 sets of bedding and towels per guest. I was told by HomeAway support that I had been generous by offering the discount, which was 20%, with another 10% for any future stay. I am saddened that this guest is still pained by this but I cannot go back in time and change what happened.
This is the original letter of response:
"We are very sorry that the rental had not been cleaned for your arrival. We understand your disappointment and appreciate the inconvenience this must have caused you and your guests. There is no question that this did not meet the very high standards our customers have come and should continue to expect.
Please accept the 150.00 along with your 300.00 refundable security deposit. I would also like to extend to you a 10% weekend discount or an additional free night to your next stay.
I can promise you that the highest quality standards will be met in the future because protecting our reputation is a key priority for us. Again, I apologize for our mistake and regret any inconvenience caused as a result.
We look forward to continuing to be your first choice for a rental in the White Mountain and lakes region of New Hampshire.

Great weekend away!

I had the opportunity to stay in this home for a weekend with a group of friends so we could attend a wedding in Plymouth. The house was cozy and spacious - great for our party of 8 people. Also, the 4 full baths made getting ready for the wedding super easy!
Of note, the map on the page doesn't show the correct location for the house. It is actually 10 minutes west of downtown in the Tenney Mt Resort. The views from the top of the mountain are terrific! However, the road getting up to the community isn't in the best shape. We were fine with sedans in dry weather, but it may be challenging when the weather is wet or icy.
Marcia provided lots of detailed information before we arrived, including suggestions for local activities. Great communication. Overall, we were really pleased with our stay and would definitely rent again!

Perfect Vacation Rental

The Tenney Mountain Getaway is a perfect vacation rental for your family or group of friends. I recently planned a golf weekend with 7 of my buddies and this house was great for our stay, we stayed Friday night through Sunday morning. The golf course (White Mountain Country Club) was only 20 minutes away and we had everything at our fingers tips as everything was only 5-10 minutes down the road. There was 4 bedrooms and a loft area and there were plenty of beds so everyone could have there own bed. As well as there were 4 bathrooms so we were never getting in each others way. The house had plenty of room and the wrap around deck is perfect for hanging out and grilling. There is even a canopy that covers half the deck, so when it starting raining we could continue hanging out on the deck while grilling. The owners provided the linens and towels. The house also came with a starter of paper products and had plenty of cups, dishes and cookware. This house has it all!!!
The owners Tony and Marcia were very helpful leading up to our trip. They sent all the information I needed to make this a perfect trip. They were even able to answer questions while we were there. The rental process was very easy with them and the return of the security deposit was done in a timely manner.
I would recommend this vacation rental to any of my family members and friends. The house is perfect for a weekend getaway or week long trip. The views are spectacular and this house has it all, see for yourselves!!!

Wow! What can i say? The home is great and lacks nothing. Everything you need is right at your fingertips. The location is awesome with some amazing views. We had such a relaxing time and enjoyed every moment. I wouldn't have changed a thing. We look forward to going back. Great place to stay!

We had relatives from out-of-state who needed a place to stay for a wedding reception but alas, all the hotels were pretty much booked for that weekend. This place is 100x better than staying at any hotel. It's roomy, comfortable and very peaceful. Everything was clean and there's tons of windows everywhere that brought a lot of natural light into the living space. The sauna/whirlpool room is a great place to relax and many hours of good conversation were had on the wrap-around patio. Wish we could have had time to use the third floor but we had a reception and there was a lot of running around to do.
Everyone loved their stay and we've been telling all our friends about the condo. Would definitely recommend if you have a group of people you need to provide room for. Just a great place to stay!

Great Home for Family Vacation

We found this Tenney Mountain home to be a wonderful place for my family to stay while we were in town for a wedding. We like to travel comfortably, have a nice kitchen and space to relax and visit - needs that were all met and which contributed to the wedding experience.
The house comfortably slept all ten of us. There were plenty of linens and towels available. Having a washer/dryer right there was very convenient - and we were particulary impressed with the selection of staples and seasonings in the pantry!
There's a lovely view from the deck, nice for morning coffee or a late afternoon snooze!
The location is convenient to the town of Plymouth and also to shopping and restaurants. There's a local place about 10 minutes away called George's Seafood and BBQ which was visited not only by us, but also by other wedding guests staying down in Plymouth - the food is absolutely delicious!!
The owner was great and very helpful.
I think everyone there would definitely stay again when we are next in New Hampshire.

Feb. School Vacation 2005: We had the vacation of our lives, from the outstanding, comfortable, accommodations to the best skiing ever. There's nothing like spending time with your family and dear friends and having it all be perfect. We can't wait to go back to 12 Dodge Road, there is a lot of great laughs and memories there. BTW: Banana Cream Pie at "The Pie Guy" is a must.
