We just had a wonderful stay in the Wilderness Cottage for 4 nights. The directions were perfect that Michael provided. We enjoyed meeting him and hearing about the town. Evergreen was a wonderful town with so many friendly people and lots of things to do. The cabin was very clean and well stocked kitchen ammenities, fire wood, games, books, TV etc. We would love to come back. Thank you for a wonderful stay in the beautiful Rocky Mountains!

Our time in the Wilderness Cottage was exceptional,
as expected from Michael Carter. The cottage was
clean, beautiful and well stocked. The view and the
deck are outrageous and the cabin is great for a
couple or a whole group of people! We will
absoloutely return.

Very nice clean cabin, we really enjoyed staying there. Bed was very comfortable and the water was hot.
We enjoyed seeing all the wildlife from the deck , lots of mule deer-big and little, red fox, maybe a wild cat .
We did see an all Black Fox with a white tail a couple times in the woods below the deck also walking along down the road toward the writers nest cabin. That is a very rare site!
A very nice experience in our travels of places we have stayed. If you like the mountains, you will like anyone of these cabins.

And chosing to stay at the Wilderness Cottage was GREAT! The house is clean and neat and nicely decorated. The view from the house in increadible. Our host Michael is so helpful and nice. He knows so much about the area and had great suggestions for activities and restaurants. We will deffinately go back. Thanks Michael for a really wonderful trip.
