The property accomodation was wonderful. The Log Cabin met all of our needs. Our long awaited expectation of a great retreat in the mountains was everything it could be. Michael, great job of taking care of your guests. We shall return!

We absolutely loved the cabin, Michael was more than helpful. We definitely plan to come back!! Beautiful surroundings, cute town nearby, all wood inside the cabin with condiments and towels and everything you could need... so romantic. I can't wait to be here again!

What a delightful place: truly felt like a home away
from home. Outstanding views, the most
comfortable bed I've ever slept on, and cozy
atmosphere. The perfect place to hole up and work
through writer's block, which is exactly how I used
it. And owner Michael is delightful and
conscientious, very welcoming. I will definitely be
back!

We arrived in Evergreen (without our children) with the intention to become reconnected with one another. We considered the cabin and the community itself to be hidden treasures. The cabin was so cozy and relaxing. When I am having a bad day or just relaxing in the tub I close my eyes and drift away to to the little cabin in Evergreen. I loved the bedroom the most ... the huge windows were the perfect compliment to the view outdoors, the leather recliner in the corner was the perfect place to curl up and read, and the fireplace only enhanced it all. I can't wait to go back ... until then I will use it as a place to escape in my mind.

We found the cabin to be just what we needed for a little anniversary getaway. Clean, well-stocked, and at a great time of year to enjoy the nature that surrounds. Clean cabin and linens, quaint decor and a rustic feel really made this place feel like home away from home. If I have 1 minor complaint to make, it is that my wife (5'10") and I (6'2") were a little too tall for the dining area--but it was hardly an inconvenience.

The cabin far exceeded our expectations! It was cozy,
clean, quiet and authentic. We loved every minute of
being there and will definitely make plans to go back
in the winter. Michael was very professional and
helpful. Oh and it was our first time ever seeing a
black fox!

As a reclusive writer-artist, I appreciate out of the way, comfy lodging. If I need to go into town, yup....if I don't, don't have to! In this log cabin, you are not missing a thing. Super clean, quiet (except for some daytime construction noise down the hill) but altogether very cool. On my last morning a BLACK FOX with a white-tipped tail stopped, lingered watching me.....precious. I am already planning a late Autumnal sojourn back......ah, Evergreen......
Owner's Response: The Constrution noise that Rebbeca mentioned is an infastrusture improvement project the will be completed and go away on Sept. 2nd 2008.

We had a great time at the Log Cabin. It was a great place to call home while we were on vacation. We saw elk almost every night from the patio. The folks of Evergreen were very hospitable and we really had a great time. Michael, thanks for everything. We'll see you next summer.
