Just far enough out of town so as not be noisy, but an easy commute to everything. The house had everything we needed, although I must admit we didn't find the in-unit washer dryer until the third day!
Well located on the ground floor, with easy parking. We could walk out to the pool (the hot tub was under repair while we were there) and the coastline.
When I stay somewhere for more than a day or two, I like to have kitchen amenties, and a place to rest outside of the sleeping area. This was a beautiful unit, nicely decorated beyond what one would expect for a rental. We felt very comfortable here. Aside from the occasional seawall-walker, we had privacy day and night, with spectacular oceanfront views.
Only downside, most likely due to location, was that there was definately a high moisture content in the air. The dehumidifier in the unit was working overtime.
Overall, would definately stay here again, and for a longer time.

We thoroughly enjoyed the condo!! Beautiful, comfortable, clean and up to date! The views are spectacular and the dolphins were out every morning! It's close to town and not far from the airport. The massage chair is an added bonus not listed! A full body massage right in the living room! The sunsets from the Lanai patio were so beautiful and you could go down to the water (at your own risk) and get into the water. Both pools are very nice and there are grills to cook out at both pools which are not far from the condo. We loved just sitting on the Lanai and enjoying the view, listening to the ocean and watching the beautiful birds and of course the dolphins. The property manager Markus is awesome and accomodating! If we return to the Big Island, we will go back to this property in a heart beat! We did have to buy beach towels as there were none provided.

What a wonderful place to stay with your family. Plenty of room for everyone. I spent 10 days over the Christmas and New Years Holidays 2010. There were 6 of us and my 6 month old grand daughter. The condo has a wonderful view of the ocean. It's on the ground floor with grass out in front. . Parking and the elevator are very close by. We had a great time at the two pools and hot tub. We enjoyed our walk to town for breakfast. This place is very centrally located. You will not be sorry if you stay here.

Our family of six spent two weeks in this beautiful condo during the Ironman, October 2008. The interior is very large with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of room in the living area. It was tastefully furnished and extremely comfortable. The master bedroom was a huge suite with a seating area and private lanai. I was concerned that the ground floor unit would not have enough privacy on the lanai, but it proved to be very private with an exceptional oceanfront view. We enjoyed coffee on the lanai every morning with an unobstructed view of dolphins, cruise ships coming into port and waves breaking in a little cove directly in front of the condo. My husband who competed in the Ironman was able to swim off the rocks in front of the condo while my daughter and I collected shells and explored the tide pools in the cove. The condo has a separate entrance close to the elevator along with two reserved parking spaces which made loading and unloading very convenient. The location is ideally situated to enjoy and explore all areas of the Island. We had a wonderful time and couldn’t imagine a better home away from home!
