Mistle Cove is situated on the south coast of Barbados in the heart of St. Lawrence Gap, the 'in' location for dining and night life. You can walk to any of the many restaurants an find a wide variety of cuisine in casual atmospheres, some with spectacular over-the-water seating. As you walk you can hear live music from many of the cafes and pubs in the Gap.

Enjoy the sound of the surf. Swim in the private pool or the sea. Soak up the sun on the private sandy beach or the white sandy beach just beyond the rocks that stretches for miles.

Activities:: Visit the great beaches of Barbados for swimming, kite and wind surfing, diving and snorkeling - and Bathsheba on the East Coast, for world-class surfing. Try some serious deep-sea fishing or a more laid back excursion combining fishing, swimming and picnicking. Horse racing and polo are very popular. Play any of our excellent golf courses such as Barbados Golf & Country Club which is nearby (discounts available). For the more energetic, join an island safari tour, go swimming with the turtles or spend an afternoon golfing or shopping. We absolutely loved the place. I could sit on that porch forever! The view, the water, the sky, the breeze....absolutely the best. We really appreciate how very welcome you made us feel. The Rum Cake (delicious) and breakfast fixings started us off perfectly. The first few days we wore ourselves out doing a variety of things...renting a car (Flintstone special) and travelling around the island,The Round House, a day on the catamaran, Bridgetown, golfing and eating well. Then we went into a more relaxing mode. Up whenever, reading, beaching, lunching, napping, beaching and dinner. We went scuba diving one day (my first time) and we saw a seahorse, a real highlight. The places and things you told us to check out were wonderful..the Redman, The Southern Palms beach and bar....It was like being in the know...thanks very much. I cannot wait to have another opportunity to enjoy such a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing... I am as rested as I could be...and we have such wonderful memories.

Excellent location for restaurants, night life and (small) beach. Can be a bit too lively if you want a sedate holiday.Beautifully maintained and well-equipped accommodation, with very helpful and friendly staff (which is true of all Bajans!). Thoroughly recommended.
As regards food, the Bean and Bagel further down the Gap is good for all-day breakfast - flying fish and plantain a must. Oistins on a Friday or Saturday night for cheap fresh fish cooked for you - try to get a table on the beach. Restaurants abound to suit all tastes but prices now similar to UK. Sunday buffet lunch should be sampled at Sunbury Plantation and / or Brown Sugar. I have heard that the Atlantis Hotel at Bethsheba is also good. The Roots and Rythms show at the Plantation is a really good night out. The locals are so friendly we just keep going back every year.
