Amazing Lake Retreat

Moriah is not your average lakefront estate. The historic buildings are immaculately refurbished with the combination of beautiful rustic décor, modern fixtures and comfortable furnishings. The kitchen is huge enough to accommodate a team of cooks. Appliances include multiple refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves, sinks and at least one of everything else. There are two long dining tables, one inside and one on the porch that can each seat a dozen or more guests.
The living areas include: a very large open area with four big couches and even more chairs, a loft space, and four large porches. There is more than enough furniture indoors and outdoors, but the rocking chairs on the huge porch that overlooks the lake are always the favorite.
The entertainment options are plentiful. There is a full-size volleyball court, ping pong table, and foosball table.
Moriah is the perfect place for big groups but is cozy enough for small get-togethers. There is plenty of privacy and space on this portion of Lake Travis, which isn’t as densely developed as so many others. The charm of these historic buildings is difficult to overstate and has to be seen to be appreciated. Moriah has more personality than most ordinary rental properties. I know I’ll be back soon and friends that have joined me there have also inquired about future stays. You won’t be disappointed.
