Weekend Getaway

This place has everything you need to just sit back and relax if your looking to get away from a busy life style. Its fully stocked with everything you need from cooking supplies, to entertainment, to sleeping supplies. All you need to do is bring yourself, and of course food. Its in very quite area as well. You can choose to stay in and enjoy a movie, relax in the hot tub, go hiking and enjoy the scenery, or have a BBQ on the patio. I recommend this for couples who are looking for some alone time, or for friends who are looking to have some fun. The owner is very friendly and also very helpful and will answer any questions you may have. Trust me, I've asked ALOT of questions since I like to plan everything out down to the smallest of details. We will definitely be coming back again in the future!

We stayed for a long weekend in February 2009. There was 6 adults and no kids. We loved the layout of the house and how well kept it looked. The hot tub was a relaxing addition to our weekend. Unfortunately, the conditions for skiing/tubing weren't great that weekend but we had a good time anyway!! The house is located very close to the mountain. It's close enough to walk but I probably wouldn't suggest it if you are lugging equipment too. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to friends & family looking for a little getaway in the Poconos.

I'd HIGHLY recommend this property for couples who just want a romantic getaway, have piece and quiet, and just enjoy each others company. This property is very affordable, contains all amenities, washer dryer, frig. stove/ oven, tv in every room, stero, hot tub, thermastat in each room, and the list goes on. The owners are wonderful, I rented this property as a surpise for my girlfriend's birthday and she absolutely loved it. She just wanted to stay in the hot tub most of the time, so we mostly never left the cabin. Stores are with in a few miles of the cabin, so you have a choice of eating out, or purchasing food and neccessities and eating in. Over all this is a very comfortable rental property, great owners, and I will most likely be renting this property again.

The pictures do not do this lovely vacation home any justice! The place is so gorgeous and comfortable I felt right at home . You provided everything that was needed plus more. We stayed here the last week of July. We had a wonderful time. We were able to swim, boat, golf, hike, horseback ride nearby, play miniature golf, have great meals, relax, and read books peacefully. We also enjoyed nature as we saw deer, turkeys, foxes and coyotes(maybe). Our children and grandchildren were busy the whole time we were there. The house was clean and well furnished. There is a wonderful three-ring binder that has all the information needed to answer any questions you might have and to point out nearby restaurants and activities. There is also the owner's phone number just in case of an emergency. The whole area is patrolled throughout the day and the night. The area is beautiful. I know you'll enjoy your stay. I know we did.

We have stayed for almost 2 wks in the fall of 2008 and liked it a lot. The description by the owner was accurate. We found the property clean and well maintained. The owner was more than helpful in assisting us in everything we needed. We definitely recommend this property to our friends. We liked the entire area and the setting in the Poconos. There was actually nothing we disliked. We look forward to coming back.

This rental was the perfect spot for a quiet gathering. We arrived during the peak of fall foliage and were instantly at home thanks to our hosts. Check in and check out was a breeze and our hosts provided an extensive notebook of activities around the area. Although we couldn't use the outdoor pool at that time of year, we were given club passes for everyone in the house.

The hot tub was absolutely clean and secluded and our hosts provided a bar area, complete supply of wood chips for the fireplace and several movies/books/games and stereo for downtime.

I would highly recommend this retreat. Everything was exactly what we needed -- a porch, bbq, hot tub and fall foliage! What else could you ask for!

Would definitely return again!
