Great Family Adventure

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary last week at "Kelley's Cabin"
Everything was perfect--so well maintained with the most comfortable furniture--especially the king bed. Kelley is an excellent owner-manager--just a phone call away with for any questions that may come up
We hiked to several falls, my husband fished and we got to know the surrounding area---really liked Dahlonega--2 terrific restaruants of note: "The Corkscrew" and "Back Porch".
I'd hghly recommend this property and no doubt we will return

Our family had the pleasure of staying at Kelley's cabin for a mountain get-away and had the most wonderful time. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous--exceeded our expectation and is close to so many attractions. We enjoyed tubing down the Chattahoochee River in Helen as well as gold panning and shopping in the quaint town square of Dahlonega. We thoroughly enjoyed visiting the local vineyards and wineries---Wolf Mountain vineyard was our favorite and has an awesome lodge house restaurant. After fun filled days of activities it was so nice to return to the cabin to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and fresh mountain air. Kelley was terrific to work with and could not have been more gracious and accommodating. We highly recommend Kelly's Cabin and our family will definitely return for future visits.

Wow what a vacation, We loved the cabin it has all the amenities you will need just bring your food. We loved sitting on the porch at night in the rockers listenning to the crickets and looking all the stares in the sky,We enjoyed going to Helen, ate at Pauls steakhouse, Dahlonega must see the square and eat at The Smith House. Dicks creek, Ga outlet mall. Kelley was great so sweet and helpfull, she even checked on us to see we got there and all was ok. I recommend this cabin as it is so cozy and the pics dont do it justice. We will for sure be back in the fall as we LOVED it all.

My husband and l had a romantic getaway, The cabin is great has all you need just bring the food. Kelley was great, checked on us to see we got there and was very helpfull. We loved the town square, Dicks creek, Helen, ate at the Smith house. Dahlonega is so beautifull and such nice people ,anyone looking to get away in the mountains has to come here as its great and we cant wait to come back in the fall.

Initially, we truly enjoyed our tripThe furnishings were nice, the kitchen had many appliances, and the beds were comfortable. Kelley was very nice when we talked with her before our stay.

However, we had problems upon and after leaving. The cleaning people were there at exactly 11:00 and immediately began checking and looking around to make sure everything was in its place. There was some confusion about a remote that had been misplaced that didn't even fit any of the electronic devices that were there. We thought a previous resident had left it accidentally.

Upon checking my bank account after we returned, I realized my security deposit had been cashed.I immediately called my bank and ,luckily, I was able to stop payment on the check. I also called Kelley . She said we trashed the place (according to the cleaning people ). She was not there to verify what was told - she lives in South Florida.None of her allegations were true.We are honest people and were astounded by the reaction we received after the fact.

If you decide to stay there, make sure of everything you are responsible for and read your contract closely.

Kelley's Cabin was great... more than we were expecting, close to everything, and a great place for my family. The cabin is an easy drive to Helen, Cleveland, and Dahlonega. We enjoyed breakfast at the Unicoi Lodge. We toured Dick's Creek and several other beautiful areas. The kids got to pan for gold and gems, and my wife and I took a tour of one of the local vineyards. The cabin is well-stocked with all the comforts of home. The cabin owner (Kelley) is great.

Our family stayed at the Henderson cabin from December 28, 2008 through January 3, 2009. The cabin is beautiful and it is in a perfect place. We were able to visit several surrounding cities and sites due to our central location. Dahlonega was a real treat. It has great local shops and terrific restaurants (Piazza and The Crimson Moon were exceptional!). We enjoyed visiting Helen and eating at the Nacooche Grill. The Cabbage Patch Hospital in Cleveland was one of my favoritie outings. We really enjoyed shopping at the North Georgia Outlet Mall and Gainesville. Oh, and I can't forget Anna Ruby Falls. What a gorgeous sight! Our vacation was full of adventure and relaxation - Just what we needed!

We rented this cabin for a weekend visit to meet up with family from all over, and had a terrific experience. Kelley, the owner, was more than accommodating, and even called to make sure we found it and got settled in okay. The cabin was in beautiful condition, and better stocked than any rental I have ever stayed in. The bed we slept in was so comfortable I wrote down the manufacturer! I told my husband I felt like I had slept on a cloud! We will definitely choose Kelley's cabin anytime we return to the Georgia mountains. It was an easy drive to Helen, and tons of places to fish as well!
