Siasconset village is on the southeast edge of Nantucket. The house itself is on Low Beach Rd with a 120 degree view of the water. Large yard for kids, quiet cull-de-sac safe for beginner bike riders. 12 minute drive (8 miles) to Nantucket town, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. The house has 2 master bedroom suites - 1 on first floor with wheelchair accessibility. The house is owned and designed by a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician who wants Nantucket to be accessible to everyone. The wrap around deck to the house is ramped from the driveway. Previous renters have included a quadriplegic gentleman and his family who attest to the accessibility. Hospital bed and other medical equipment rental are available through the Nantucket hospital and pharmacy. Bring your van/car over on the ferry (Steamship Authority) or use one of the wheelchair van taxis. Upstairs includes 2nd master w/Queen bed, bunk bed room, and 2nd queen bedroom. All have ocean views.
