Fabulous spacious home in a beautiful location!

Nezgroup Milan, NM
Review Submitted: October 9, 2007 Date of Stay: September 2007
We brought in a large group to stay at this vacation home and had a wonderful time! The house is very spacious and the owners were very accomodating to our large group. Everything we needed was at our fingertips, and there were unexpected extras. The large living room fit everyone and was very cozy, and everyone had a great time with the fun games in the basement. The house is an easy drive from Albuquerque. The view from the huge balcony was awesome -- beautiful mountain retreat!! We would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting a weekend or extended getaway!!

Very Pleasant Stay!

DTE Richmond, Texas
Review Submitted: October 8, 2009 Date of Stay: May 2009
It was a pleasant and memorable vacation, helped in large part by the rental home. The views are beautiful, and there was more than enough room for four adults and one baby. Some of the furniture was a little old, and a couple of the beds were not as comfortable as we might like. But everything was clean and perfectly acceptable. And the savings, when compared to the cost of three decent hotel rooms in Albuquerque, were significant. Also helpful were the grocery store and restaurants, all a short drive away. We would definitely stay again!

Very Enjoyable

Review Submitted: March 5, 2009 Date of Stay: February 2009
We really enjoyed our stay at the property. This proved to be a good choice for a family of 8-10 people looking to spread out a bit and have a place to share meals. The location was nice and at the end of a cul-de-sac with a good view, and the house, while dated, was clean and in good condition. The owners were courteous and easy to deal with on the phone. The location gives you good access to Albquerque, but also to the Sandia mountains and the scenic road to Santa Fe. Overall, we would stay here again if we visit the area next year.

A True Serene Getaway

Drewsy Fremont, NE
Review Submitted: July 1, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
This was the ultimate vacation getaway from all the hustle and bustle of the city. There were 10 of us and the condo was very spacious, you weren't stepping on everyone's toes like you would in a motel. The weather was warm in the afternoon but by evening it was perfect for relaxing out on the deck watching the sunset with no mosquitos to fight off. Just perfect for relaxing in a quiet serene setting after a long day. I would and will recommend this condo to anyone looking to stay in the Albuquerque area. We loved and enjoyed the stay here and weren't ready to leave but duty always calls. Thank you Calvin for allowing us to stay at your perfect getaway, it is one we will never forget.

Denise and family
Owner's Response: Thank you Denise! Just one correction: the property is an actual single-family dwelling (house), not condo. Again, we're glad you enjoyed your stay...come see us again!

Simply Breathtaking!

Review Submitted: September 5, 2007 Date of Stay: July 2007
Wow! What a remarkable vacation home! This was my first time visiting the west with my family, and coming from Florida, I was mezmorized. When we walked up to the front door I was just astonished. The front yard was just beautiful and so welcoming and inviting. Inside the house is very spacious--there was room for the kids to play and the adults to lounge and hang out. The scene from the balcony was gorgeous. I'd never experienced anything like it. The house is surrounded by beauty. Ah, the smell of the pine trees was just awesome! I didn't want to come home! I would recommend this vacation home without hesitation. The owners were very helpful during our entire vacation stay. We're definitely going back!

Great time

Review Submitted: September 4, 2007 Date of Stay: August 2007
We enjoyed our stay. The owners were helpful and responsive and made an effort to see that we enjoyed our stay and had what we needed.

The property has good views, very spacious and is quiet. You can see and hear the road from the view, but it's down in the valley.

No complaints! We would visit again.

Had a great time...

Mystere Albuquerque, NM
Review Submitted: March 28, 2007 Date of Stay: March 2007
The views are as advertised...simply breathtaking. The owners were very accomodating to our needs. We needed more beds because we had more people than we anticipated and the owners responded promptly to our desires. Cedar Crest is a wonderful quaint town. I loved the mountain views, juniper trees, and peace and quiet. It literally does feel like serenity. The amenities were fabulous. The property was spotless and the owners were available whenever we needed them. I highly recommend this mountain resort. Quite honestly, for the price, location and number of people it can accomodate at once, you just can't beat it. We'll definitely come back!
