Beautiful Santa Fe Western Style two story townhome, with a view deck, in the hills. Totally remodeled and furnished. Lovely view of Santa Fe and the San Cristobal mountains. Full kitchen (save $200/night just on eating out), dining area, living room, in house washer and dryer. Western tiled baths with skylights. Very quiet.
There is an indoor pool and spa on the grounds.
Two bathrooms upstairs, one a master bath/bedroom design. Both bedrooms have quuen size beds and open to a big outdoor balcony. Large living area downstairs with cable TV with DVD, free high speed wireless Internet, sleeper couch, rocking chair and recliner. The suite is four to five times as large as the average Santa Fe hotel room - full kitchen wtih a dishwasher, stove, microwave, full refrigerator, oven, and place settings for six. The home has been shown as a model by Realtors in the area. Private and roomy.
Two minute drive and eight minute walk to Plaza. CREDIT CARDS ACCEPTED

Very ez payment fast delivery of keys and he even provided a Santa Fe guide. Condo very well maintained perfect location to hit the slopes. The owners are quick to respond and very accommodating. In their guide they list restaurants we tried Gabriels and That was very good!!! I would recommend hoursemens haven to anyone who wants a good berger great green chili. With that being said the condo is great and highly recommended.I can't say enough about this place.

This beautiful property exceeded all of our expectations and more. While the location is located very closely to the heart of Santa Fe, it is situated in a hill giving it beautiful views from every main room in the place as well as the upstairs balconies. The interior design was clearly done with great attention to detail, is very aesthetically pleasing and festive while still feeling comfortable and welcoming. It comes with top notch washer and dryer, oven, microwave and dishwasher. I would highly recommend this place to anyone seeking phenomal accommodation in Santa Fe that is still very reasonably priced.

50th wedding anniversary

My parents, brother, sister, and I rented this townhouse for a 50th wedding anniversary visit. The townhouse had plenty of room for the five of us and was very comfortable. We sat on the second floor balcony in the early evenings for a drink and it feels like you are in the mountains. The unit is on the back of the complex and even though you had to walk down steps to get to it, it was worth it because it was so quiet. We didn't want to spend the time walking downtown so don't know how long it would take but we drove and didn't have trouble finding a parking space. The location worked well for us and if we ever go back to Santa Fe, we will definitely stay in this townhouse again! So much nicer than staying in a hotel when you have a group of people.

My husband and I along with another couple just returned from our Fiestas Vacation in Santa Fe and had a wonderful time. Mr. Schaye's Fort Marcy Condo is the perfect location for anyone wanting to experience Santa Fe's lovely downtown. I must say that the condo was not quite ready when we arrived at 12:30 but one quick phone call to Mr. Schaye and we were in in a matter of a couple hours. His property manager was very accomodating and made sure that our stay was comfortable. This is a cozy rental with all the up-to-date ammenities. And we look forward to future rentals with Mr. Schaye.

THIS CONDOMINIUM CERTAINLY MET OUR NEEDS. AFTER A DAY OF SIGHTSEEING IT WAS GREAT TO COME TO A LOVELY,COSY HOME AWAY FROM HOME. THE BEDROOMS WERE AMPLE, WE ESPECIALLY LIKED THE BALCONY WHERE WE HAD TEA AND COFFEE IN THE MORNING. IT WAS EASY TO LOCATE. IT IS WELL MAINTAINED, CLEAN AND PLENTY OF TOWELS, PAPER GOODS, KITCHEN WARE ETC. THE OWNER PROVIDED MAPS AND HIS RECOMMENDATION OF RESTAURANTS AND SIGHTS TO VISIT WERE MUCH APPRECIATED. I CERTAINLY WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CONDO TO ANYONE FOR A MINIMUM OF A WEEK AS THERE ARE SO MANY SIGHTS TO BEHOLD. WE ESPECIALLY ENJOYED THE SMALL BUS TOUR OF THE CITY OF SANTA FE, THE LORETTO CHAPEL AND TAOS. WE ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO A RETURN VISIT.

The property lived up to its description.We enjoyed our stay and found the owner to be very helpful. The townhouse was very clean and bathrooms were nicely updated. Would highly recommend to visitors

Location and comfort

A fine townhouse, very nicely furnished, well-equipped kitchen, plenty of bath towels, paper towels, misc. condiments, etc. Lots of useful guidebooks, maps, and other information left by previous renters or the owner. The listing description was accurate, and the townhouse both clean and well maintained. (One kitchen light buib went out, but new bulbs were on hand.) Very comfortable for 2 couples.
The location is great. The complex was quiet, with no traffic noise at all, and the door and balcony open on a lovely ravine. The walk downhill to the plaza for museums, art galleries, and restaurants, is about 10 minutes. Quick access to roads leading to the opera, the mountains, a huge grocery store.
Many things to do: fabulous opera, but also the chamber music festival. Heading north, the Shidoni foundry and sculpture park, chimayo and the "high road" to Taos. The owner's suggestions on restaurants were very good.
Highly recommended.

Great stay at a great city

The condo was exactly as listed - comfortable, well furnished and clean. Absolutely no problems with getting in and getting settled. This is the perfect place to stay in Santa Fe - close to the plaza. easy access to everything. What was especially nice was having 2 bathrooms on the second floor - same size pretty much and very nice.
Kitchen was modern and well appointed. The owner of this property is very responsive to any questions you have before arriving and any problems upon arrival. We had no real problems except for a missing coffee grinder - I called him to see if it had been misplaced - he immediately responded and we had a new one asap.

Santa Fe without a view....

The condo was clean and well stocked, but disregard anything in the description talking about "views". Perhaps before nearby trees grew the view was spectacular but not anymore, and the patio furniture did little to entice you to spend time on the deck. The directions received from the owner combined with the condo location within the complex also made it very hard to find. Should also note, this location is not ideal for people who cannot walk distances or stairs, as parking was several yards away and down several layers of stairs, a challenge when unloading your luggage. True the kitchen had been remodeled, but overall the condo was a bit dated and just not what we expected from the description. However, the proximity to downtown was excellent and DEFINITELY do visit Santa Fe! The charm of the town, and the beautiful weather along with all the great restaurants, shops, and especially museums is well worth the visit. Many wonderful full-day or half-day trips are available.
Owner's Response: Thank you for calling attention to the steps - there are about 10 steps if you go in one direction and about 30 if you go in the other. I generally go in the 10 step direction.
