Centrally located on the outskirts of Puerto Morelos, a quaint little fishing village, the estate is a 20-25 minute drive North to Cancun Airport and the heart of Cancun or South to Playa del Carmen. These nearby resort areas offer a wide variety of shopping, dining, dancing and much more.

Villa Mateo uses quality towels and bed linens. A full time staff provides maid, pool, gardening, beach cleaning and security services and will cater to your every need. Great house for an extended family vacation

This is a great house offering great unobstructed ocean views from each of the 4 bedrooms. The lay out is great for a large group to be together in the great room while providing alternate areas for quiet time. The kids had great fun in the deep pool [kids really need to be pool safe if you are considering this house]. We enyoyed the roof terrace and jacuzzi before dinner. The decor is very tasteful. The house is well kept. The people who look after it are truly dedicated. Thank you David and Leo. Special mention for Gloria who cooked tasteful, wholesome meals for our group. She is the best!
I recommend this house without hesitation to people who are looking for quality family time while enjoying the Mayan Riviera attractions. People looking for a resort style experience should look elsewhere. This place is for beauty, quiet and relaxation with your friends or loved ones.

We just recently returned from a 30th girls trip to Villa Mateo. The villa was paradise! We couldn't ask for more. A beautiful home with a private beach! Great location. About half hour from airport. Right in between Cancun and PDC perfect if you have time to visit both. Puerto Morelos itself is amazing and really no need to leave town or the villa. There are hotels a short walk away if you feel like socializing and not wanting to drive. The property is kept spotless. All the rooms very spacious and confortable with balconies and gorgeous beach views. A private pool and beach! doesn't get any better. Booked with Steven Wright who went above and beyond helping us plan an amazing tropical getaway!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
