Great location

We had a great time. the condo was very comfortable and clean.
we rented a scooter to get to certain activities, but that wasn't necessary, cause they all have shuttles and pick you up from your place. the morning jog on the beach was nice. the swimming pool was lots of fun. (there's a Bar/restaurant opening up right at the pool)

i would stay there again and recommend this for family and friends.

Micheals condo on Lucaya

Cliff & Denise Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada
Review Submitted: March 10, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
We arrived at Coral Beach on Jan.23/09 for a month, the condo had been renovating 2007 and was well appointed and clean. The property was older but was well kept. The Staff at Coral Beach were friendly "say hi to Cyril". Coral Beach condos are located on a 1 1/2 mile beautiful beach midway between from Our Lucaya and the inlet at Ocean Reef Resort. It is a very quiet, mostly 50+ or young families. Our days would include walks on the beach in the morning and relaxing on the beach or shopping in the afternoon. If you are looking for the spring break crowd this is not he place to find it. But take a 25 minute walk down the beach to Lucaya or a $5.00 cab ride and you will find a number different bars "Rum Runners or Billy Joe's" and restaurants "East" to your suite party and dining requirements. Wednesday night fish fry on Taino beach is worth a visit. Or if you are looking for local dining Something Native in Freeport is an excellent choice.
Grand Bahamas is a great place to relax, but If you are a person in a hurry this not the place to go, everything in the Grand Bahamas moves at about half the pace that in moves at in the rest of the world, this can sometimes be frustrating, "so just relax man".
We have traveled extensively and found Grand Bahama to very safe and friendly place to visit.
Micheal was honest and excellent to deal with, we would recommend this condo to our friends and family.

Holiday Vacation

My daughter and I spent a week at this condo and had one of our best vacations ever ... really! We have done extensive travel through the Caribean and Mexico and this was by far our best. The condo was just what we needed and wanted. Bright, clean and comfortable. We really did feel at home! The people, workers, owners and vacationers - everyone we met, were so friendly and helpful. We woke up late, made breakfast, went to the beach by 11:30 and stayed until 5-6:00, showered and walked to Lucaya for drinks and supper.

Fabulous week!

We just returned from a wonderful week in Michael's studio. The unit was extremely clean when we arrived - furnished very nicely - having beach towels, chairs, and a cooler at our disposal was an added bonus.

The beach is very pretty and we felt very safe walking either along the beach or the road the approximately 1 mile to the Port Lucaya/Our Lucaya area for activities, meals, the casino, etc.

The only reason for the 4 suitcase rating as opposed to the 5 suitcases didn't have to do with Michael's unit at all - more that the hallways weren't as updated/bright as they could be.

All in all we loved it!

We stayed in this condo unit for 5 weeks (March 25 – May 1, 2008) and had a great time! The area is fabulous, the unit is cozy: comfortable bed, very clean, well decorated and wonderfully stocked with all the necessary things for a comfortable living. The weather was very nice and the Caribbean Sea was inviting! The beach is very well maintained and we tried to make the full use of it, every day, three times a day. Michael, the owner of the unit, was very responsive to all our e-mails and answered us almost immediately. It was a pleasure to meet him in person during his visit to the Coral Beach – he stayed in his other unit. We certainly hope to be back some time in the future and will give our highest recommendations to the friends and family members should they choose Freeport, the Bahamas, as their vacation destination.

The condo we stayed in was very clean! Very well decorated. It had all the amenities that were needed. The building was a little dated, however, they are doing the best they can to maintain it. The pool area and grounds are very well kept. A little painting would go a long way though. We felt vey safe there. The condo owners were very nice and were meet a lot of friendly folks. We would stay there again.
