Enjoy glorious sunsets! First floor duplex, directly across from bay beach, sleeps 8. Great for families or couples. Spacious open plan with large picture windows.
Comfortable clean beach house - easy to share with two couples. Fully equipped eat-in kitchen and large airy sun room with a dining table. Three bedrooms with excellent mattresses, one full bath, two 1/2 baths. Amenities: central A/C, washer/dryer, cable TV (three of them), gas grill, outdoor shower. Beach necessities provided: caddy, chairs, towels & BADGES. Young children love the swings at bay beach.
Put your car keys away. Walk across the street to the bay beach. Short walk to ocean, restaurants and shops. An expansive beautiful ocean beach is waiting for you!
Sorry, no pets, single groups under age 25 or smoking in the house.
Avoid the traffic on turn-over day! Weeks run Sunday to Sunday

Our group loved this home! The living space is perfect for entertaining. The front yard was ideal for a July 4th BBQ and watching the fireworks across the bay. Sign us up for next year Linda!

A time to be thankful for

A Thanksgiving celebration at the beach. What could be more relaxing? A clean, well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving meal that was enjoyed with a beautiful sunset as the backdrop. The next day was filled with long walks on the beach ... and sitting and reading, while looking out over the bay.
This is a great place to bring your family, across from the bay and just blocks from the ocean. A relaxed, homelike atmosphere that really lets you sit back and let all your worries drift away.

A perfect place for families

We are a German family of 5 and visited the US in August 2010. After an exciting week in New York we looked for a place for recreation. Surf City on Long Beach Island was that place: sandy beaches, the Atlantic on one side and a calm bay on the other - ideal for all kinds of swimmers. And we found a perfect apartment: positioned directly opposite the bay, very comfortable with carefully chosen furniture and equipment, room enough for all of us. Simply wonderful!

We totally enjoyed the new open floor plan (2nd year renting). The sunset is phenomenal! Close to the beach and the stores. Comfort and relaxation! What more can you ask for!!

Plenty of Room!

My husband and I flew in from Southern California and met my parents for a long weekend on the Island for a family wedding in September and this was the perfect set up for us. This house is great for a few adult couples to share with plenty of privacy. The kitchen is very accommodating and the outdoor shower is large and clean with plenty of hot water.
We had a few family members that were staying on the Island stop by to visit and there was plenty of room to sit or eat, and just spread out (there are so many places to sit!) Everyone was very impressed with the huge windows in the front of the house overlooking the bay, by far the best feature of this house. There is something about the water that makes you stare, and this view is just mesmerizing at all times of the day.

Close to things, but not too close!

What a relaxing time we had here at the barnegat street house! The four of us enjoyed the picture windows, the comfortable living area, with cable tv, the easy to use kitchen, the outdoor grill...and every night, a great sunset. Clean and attractive, the retro feel is just what a beach house needs. Parking in front was no prob. The little beach (bayside) just across the street was never crowded and lots of room for walking and riding. Also, driving around Long Beach Island, seeing the many little communities and shops and restaurants and recreation--and easy access to New Jersey proper--just a wonderful time away with lots to do - (or not!!) The owner was a phone call away if troubles arose, she was cheerful and accomodating. Overall, highly recommended!

This past summer we spent a week at this wonderful house across the street from the bay. We were treated to a gorgeous sunset every night. It lit up the entire living area of this home. We have been renting beach houses and lake cottages for 20+ years and I must say that this little gem of a house was the most " renter friendly ". It had everything you could possibly want and then some. The kitchen is stocked with items I don't even have at home ! The master bedroom was so very nice as were the other 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Clean all the way through and I would recommend this beach house to all my friends.
