The home is quaint, and the water is quintessential Lake Hartwell!
We would recommend this home to anyone.

My family of five enjoyed six nights and seven days at this A-frame family cabin in July. We had plenty of room in the large loft and bedroom downstairs for our family. Our three teenage sons never had an "I'm bored" moment because there was so much to do and enjoy! The location is beautiful and the owner had everything you could possibly need, including satellite tv, games, floats for the lake, a canoe, a terrrific grill on a large deck with table and chairs! We enjoyed diving off the dock into clean, clear water that was about 12-15 feet deep. Our boys fished each day and canoed in the cove. The property is far enough from town to feel like you are "away from the city", but shopping and grocery stores are within a short ride. We built a campfire close to the lake and enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making smores several nights. The owner is very nice and will quickly answer any questions you have by phone or email. She couldnt' have been easier to deal with! I highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants to get away from a busy life and just sit back and enjoy God's creation! We will definately return!

We stayed at the cabin fron July 6 - 10. There was no one around. I felt a sense of privacy. We had a wonderful time. Everything was clean and comfortable. The master bedroom was downstairs. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need. Just bring food and your tooth brush. We grilled outdoors every day and hung out on the large deck. We fished on the private dock and canoed every day. The lakeview is spectacular. The lake is very clean. There is plenty of beautiful walks down every street. There are beautiful scenic drives and white water rafting nearby. We had PEACE and TRANQUILITY, which was what we needed. Thanks very much.

Barbara, Thanks for letting us use your cabin. We can't wait to make a return visit. The lake is amazing. We went swimming off the dock and in the middle of the lake. Tried to fish but didn't know what we were doing. Maybe next time. It was the most relaxing and enjoyable getaway for us in a long time. I have family that live about 45 minutes from Hartwell. This is a perfect place for us to stay while visiting them. I would much rather stay at the cabin then any motel. Thanks again and God Bless,

What a nice weekend we had at the lake. To quote Goldilocks...This cabin was just right!! Not too big, not too small. We had a wonderful time. The view is magnificent. We cooked all our meals and found the kitchen stocked well for this. The photos and web description are accurate. I would definatly reccomend this cabin for your vacation get away!! :)

Thank you Barbara! WHAT A WONDERFUL TIME WE HAD! We totally fell in love with the cabin. It is so nice, charming and cozy. We plan to come back in late spring and or early summer! It was the most
relaxed and quiet weekend in a long time for our family! We sat on the dock for
hours fishing and canoeing. This by far was our favorite cabin. It was PERFECT!
There was 6 of us and room for more! Thank you again!!

Nice rustic A-Frame cabin w/good beds. Everything we needed was there. Spent most of our time sitting in the comfortable furniture on the spacious deck or down at the dock floating in the water. Cove is just off the main lake w/good clean Deep water; boat ramp was only minuets away. Great dock. We had (7) adults and even thought the cabin was small we never felt cramped. Looking forward to our next visit.

What a wonderful,peaceful and quiet week my wife and I had in Barbara's cabin.We fished off of the dock everyday and took many walks with the neighborhood dogs in the mornings and evenings. P.S My wife caught a 5 1/2 pound catfish off of the dock. We used the new gas grill often as we did not want to leave every night to go out to eat.
