I cannot say enough good things about this condo in Port Lucaya. Our family of five stayed for one week last summer and it was everything (and more) as advertised. The size was perfect for us as two couples stayed in the two bedrooms, each with its own bath, and our 6' 4" son slept on the couch in the living area with room to spare. The place was immaculate, comfortable, and well furnished. The condo is part of a five-unit complex with a very nice pool practically right outside our patio door. While we there we saw only one other occupant, so we had the pool almost entirely to ourselves.

The condo is located in the heart of the Port Lucaya area just off a main street. Our walk to the beautiful beach took about ten minutes. I would strongly suggest renting a car (although taxis are plentiful, if you prefer) to be able to go to the many other beaches on the island including Lucaya Beach (just across the channel from Port Lucaya), and our favorite, Banana Bay, about a ten-minute drive, which has a quaint restaurant serving lunch. Another reason to have a car is for grocery shopping. I would suggest avoiding the City Market(?) nearby as its quality has deteriorated significantly since it was a Winn-Dixie.

Just around the corner and down the street is another great restaurant, Red Beard's Pub, which has great food and service in a funky Caribbean/pirate atmosphere. It is located in the old Brittania Pub next to the Bell Channel Inn. I can't wait to go back. A husband and wife (yes, there really is a Red Beard) run the establishment and they are great people to get to know.

Finally, the owner of the condo is great to work with, welcomes feedback, and is eager to please. I enthusiastically recommend her condo without hesitation or reservation.

A very enjoyable weekend. We arrived to a very nice, well cleaned apartment. Met with the property manager and received the keys. Not much information for from her, but figured it out. The pool and outside area was well kept, great for morning coffee and drinks pool side. Friendly and helpful neighbors. The walk thru the woods was about five minutes and well worth the walk. Close to eveything except a grocery store. Recommend that you stop at the grocery store near the airport to get what you need. All in all a wondeerful trip. Thank you Lisa for all the tips around town. We would stay at the apartment again in the future.

Thank you so much! We had a great time and your condo is really well equipped, had everything we needed. All of the info you provided before we went was amazing! We were able to find our way around with no problem at all. Even rented a car for a week (driving on the left side of the road was an experience!) and drove to the east and west ends of the island.

We did take a chance and jumped in the pool one evening, brrrr... a little cold, even for us Canadians! The location was ideal, able to go into Port Lucaya for some excitement if we wanted, and still able to leave the resort area and feel more at home in your condo. We all enjoyed many of the movies you have in the evenings, you have a great selection, covering all age ranges and genres.

Will definitely be in touch the next time we visit Grand Bahama!

I rented Lisa's condo for a recent vacation for my parents and myself this October. We loved our time on the island and these accommodations definitely helped immensely.

The condo was very close to the Our Lucaya resort area. We rented a car for the weekend, as we were exploring the whole island, and it only took a minute to get to the nearby restaurants and beaches.

The place was very clean and the backyard area (with pool!) was a welcomed relaxation after the full days.

The entire process of renting went very smoothly; Lisa is quick to answer any questions before you actually arrive, her property manager in Freeport was there to greet us after our 10 minute drive from the airport, and the security check was back in my hands very quickly after our return back to the states.

I'd definitely recommend the condo to anyone staying in Freeport and hopefully I'll be able to get back soon!

My husband and I had a relaxing stay in Our Lucaya thanks to the amenities this condo provided. We had everything we needed for a "home away from home"...with a great swimming pool bonus! We vacationed with another couple and their two children, and there was plenty of room for all-2 spacious bedrooms, 2 full baths and a pull-out couch for the kids was perfect! We took a short walk each day into town, and spent our days lounging by the beach. There was always something happening in the evenings, and the limbo show in the "town square" should not be missed! We had a lot of fun at "Billy Joe's Conch Shack" where the live music kept the crowd entertained all afternoon. Overall, we had a GREAT time during our stay and would love to go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Lisa's condo in Freeport! The condo was clean, spacious, and welcoming. The pool was clean. For trips into town, the condo was only about a five minute walk to the beach and/or Port Lucaya. We would definitely recommend Lisa's condo to anyone looking for a relaxing time in Freeport, Bahamas!

Property was clean, well maintained and had all the amenities we needed. The owner ensured that we had contact numbers and assistance available and provided a list of local activities, restaurants, and services, which we found very helpful. The condo property was very attractive and the pool which was right outside our door was clean, private, and well taken care of. Shopping, Lucaya Market, restaurants, and the beautiful beach all were within walking distance of the condo. If our travel takes us back to the area we would certainly consider Lisa's condo for another vacation. We really enjoyed the area and the people of Port Lucaya and found the condo had everything we needed for our month long stay.
