I spent a girls weekend in Short North at this rental - the place was immaculate and adorable! Not to mention, close to everything in the area. Clinton was such a gracious host - I would recommend this rental to everyone!

AMAZING!!

Stayed here with three of my friends for our annual Girls Weekend. The place was spotless, beautiful and overall perfect for anyone. Clinton went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Pool is great, beds are comfortable, I could go on and on. We highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the Columbus area. We hung out in the Short North area, but also in the nearby Arena District. It was a quick drive to Easton and the airport as well. Would definitely stay here again!!

Perfect location, terrific owner, totally charming place. Pool was great, hot tub great, just a beautiful apartment and a wonderful experience.
If we ever get back to Columbus we will definitely rent here (and we were so pleasantly surprised with the fabulous neighborhood, including the recommendations from the owner). Thanks again!

This is a wonderful two bedroom carriage house that was perfect for a family weekend in Columbus. Walked to OSU stadium (we walked while the traffic just sat there) and then we walked to High St. for meals and drinks. Beautiful place and Clinton has great hospitality with his extra touches. Hopefully we will be back for a fun weekend! Thanks Clinton!

Better than home away from home

Beautifully decorated, well-appointed 2 bedroom place, only a block away from Short North. For less than what you'd pay at a 2 star place, we had all of that, and a private entrance, a gigantic pool and a jacuzzi: what more could you ask for?

Wonderful stay at the Carriage House!

We did a two couples Memorial Day Weekend trip to Columbus to relax and to see a concert. The carriage house and pool area were wonderfully decorated. Our hosts were gracious and helpful with information and directions. We parked the car in their garage and didn't move it for the whole weekend. We found lots of shopping and dining right around the corner from the Carriage House. There is as much night life as you wish to experience with pubs and restaurants open late.
We will return to the Carriage House. It was a wonderful experience that we want to repeat.

We rented this charming coach house for a girls' weekend celebrating my sister's upcoming wedding. Not only did it feel like we were in a private resort (complete with fresh flowers, sparkling pool, covered hot tub, full kitchen, washer/dryer), but it was in the perfect location - within walking distance to everything in the Short North (great shopping, restaurants, & bars). There's ample parking with two spots available at the rental as well as plenty of street parking on 2nd Ave.
Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate to allow us to enjoy the beautiful pool...so we've already decided we need to make a trip back sometime soon (tip...book early - this one fills up fast during the warmer months). It's also close enough to campus - so you might want to consider it when you're in town for the next OSU event (hint, hint...all you football fans).

The only place to stay in Columbus

If you're reading this, you must be contemplating staying at this property. We not only recommend it, but strongly urge you to not waste another minute in booking the carriage house. What awaits you is one of the greatest places we've ever stayed on any of our trips. Besides the incredible accomodations and amenities, its location in the Victorian section of the city offers, within walking distance, everything and anything that's hot to do, to see, to enjoy and to eat in the city of Columbus.
Then, there are your gracious hosts, Clinton and Rick, who were always eager to help with directions and recommendations on where to go, what to see and where to find the best food. And this is to say nothing of the dog. Wait until you meet Princess, one of the most loving, friendly and adorable dogs you'll ever encounter.
We stayed there in the dead of winter with bad weather and loved every minute. We can't wait to go back in the summer when we can enjoy that beautiful pool and hot tub and stroll High Street in shorts and sneakers.
I thought the people where we live were friendly. Well they've got serious competition from everyone we met during our stay in Columbus. For example, we went back to a store we'd visited two days earlier, and the minute I walked in the owner knew who we were, where we lived and even the product we were looking for.
If after reading this you're not convinced the carriage house is the only place to stay, then go ahead and make your reservations at some cold, impersonal hotel where everyone has their hand out for your money. At least you'll be freeing it up for folks like us who will appreciate it and will remember it as one of the greatest experiences they've ever had on any trip anywhere.
