4 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 4 Baths (Sleeps 10-12

This is a beautiful four bedroom, four bath home (3,000 square feet) in a quiet gated community. It has a large front porch with swings and chairs and a large back porch with benches, table and chairs, and a gas grill. This all overlooks Lake Catherine (not on the lake). Deer constantly roam the area and pass right under the deck or in the yard.

The home has three floors connected with a spiral staircase. Upstairs are two bedrooms with two twin beds in each (making four) with a bathroom. The main level has the kitchen, bathroom, livingroom, fireplace, huge living area, and the master bedroom with a queen-sized bed. This all opens out to the huge back deck with grill. The lower level has a storage room, laundry room, a huge bedroom with a his and her bathroom, two full size beds & a 'Day Bed' and a separate dressing or make-up area. The beds face a sliding glass door which looks out to Lake Catherine.

The house is fully-furnished with pots and pans, dishes, linens, paper towels etc... and even has a piano. Great for family reunions or church groups. Call me to check on other listings in the area.

I'm a retired Air Traffic Controller & Carol is retired from Continental Express. We like to travel.

Why the Owner Chose Hot Springs: Very peaceful, quiet area & we love to have family reunions there as it is large enough to handle us. We watch deer roam the grounds or go to water parks, fishing, skiing or hiking to the waterfall. We like to rent a pontoon boat pull the kids on a tube or take a family slow boat ride around the lake & eat watermelon.. Very nice & we make memories with grand-kids.

Spacious and Comfortable

We had seven women sharing this house for a weekend getaway, and it was pretty much perfect. There was a little confusion with the TV and DVD player, but that didn't factor in too much. We had just about everything we needed and had a great time. We were all comfortable, with enough room to be together but still have personal space. We all highly recommend this house, and will most likely be back in the future.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers

Super Vacation!!

This was our first time to visit Hot Springs as a family and our first time at Serendipity House and Diamond Head. Everything was terrific - PLENTY of room for all - BEAUTIFUL views - great amenities - and just right for vacation fun & memories! The patios and porches were custom made for relaxing, cooking out, or just gathering together. The location provided lot's of quiet time and easy access to the park, lake, marina, pool, golf course, and it was not far to any where we wanted to be...... We just had a great time and hope to come back soon!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Family Reunion

What a wonderful place to stay! My grandsons graduation prompted a family reunion and this house was perfect. The minute you walk through the door you feel totally relaxed. Whether it was sitting on the back deck talking about "old times", or rocking the little ones to sleep on the front porch. Thank you for allowing us the use of this wonderful house. We are planning on another reunion and will be checking on this house in the future. Memories were made here.

My 55th Birthday Celebration

(April of 2010) I celebrated my 55th birthday with my Mom, 2 sisters, niece, daughter-in-law and 3 girlfriends! We had a ball - it was a 3 day weekend celebration and well worth the location, sight and price! I cannot say enough about what a GREAT time we had. We are looking forward returning to Lake Catherine and the house again in the future!

We had a wonderful stay. If you are looking for a quiet place to unwind, this is it. The view of the lake is gorgeous. The trip to downtown Hot Springs is about 10 miles and the drive wasn't any bother at all. Also, everything you see on the website is accurate. When we return to Hot Springs, you can bet we will stay here again.

Thank you for the use of your home. It was even better than the pictures on your site! The view was wonderful and we constantly watched deer pass by the back deck. Hot Springs is close by, providing activities for everyone. I would recommend your home and the Diamondhead Community to anyone planning a trip to Hot Springs. And Lake Catherine State Park is 2 miles away! We thouroughly enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back! Thanks again.
