We live in Mebane NC (about 3 hours drive from Carolina Beach) with our dogs and cats. Although not natives of NC, we have lived here for over 15 years and enjoy the central location of access to the mountains and beach. Ever since we discovered vacation rentals, this is the only way we travel (hotels seem so restrictive and claustraphobic now!).
We stay at our condo as much as we can and are always adding/changing things around based on our experience and guest comments.
Thanks for your interest and hope to hear from you!
Mike & Marlene Garcia
This condo is our first rental property purchase and we have not looked back. The view overlooking the lake was what sold the condo, and not to mention how close it is to the beach! If you count slowly, you might not get to 50 starting from our door to when your feet touch sand (the city recently renovated the stairs over the dunes at the public beach access so that adds just a few more steps!)
