House was amazing. A stone throw (literally) away from the bars. Definitely trying to go again!

A group of 7 of us just got back from staying at "the tuck" about a week ago, and I am still excited about what a great experience we all had. The chalet was even more that I expected....the kitchen is enormous, which leaves lots of room for everyone to cook and socialize in. The layout of the place is very spread out, so everyone has lots of room either all be together in one room, or in different parts of the house doing their own thing. The hottub was fantastic (and an essential after a long day of snowboarding!) The chalet was fully stocked with EVERYTHING that you would need.....all kitchen untensils, soap, shampoo, linens, everything. The only thing better than the chalet was my interactions with Joe the owner. He always responded to my numerous emails before booking, and made the check-in and check-out process a breeze. Our group left feeling like we really experienced Killington to the fulliest, and we have Joe to thank for making eveything possible.
I would recommend staying at the Tuck to anyone, I hope you have as great of a time as we did!

I rented the Tuck It Inn ski house with 15 of my friends for 4 nights. Aside from the great snow, the house truly could not be better. There was plenty of room for everyone, the house is in great condition, and definitely in a great location. Only a short walk from the bars and restaurants and across the street from the shuttle stop, I will definitely be looking to rent the Tuck It Inn upon my next return to Killington. The hot tub and sauna are great after a long day on the mountain while the wooden tables in the kitchen are a great place for everyone to hang out at. Joe was extremely helpful and a great owner to rent from. He was always available when we needed him. Definitely consider this place!!

This was our 4th annual guys ski weekend and this was the best place we've stayed. The ideal house for a group of friends.. plenty of space with a large living room to watch the game, large kitchen/bar with 2 long tables, hottub and sauna to relax, and a ping pong table room. And the location is clutch.. right on the access road, less than a 5 minute drive to the base lodges in the morning and a 5 minute walk to the Pickle Barrel at night. All in all a memorable weekend.

A group of 15 friends decided to head up to Killington, VT for New Years 2010. I expected this to be a fun trip but it turned out to be the best New Year's that any of us has ever had. My family has been going up to Killington since I was 5 years old so I knew, geographically, where I wanted us to be - close to the mountain, close to food shopping, close to bars and restaurants. The Tuck-it-Inn had all of this and more. When you walk in, your first thought is, "Wow, this is a lot of space!" The kitchen area is extremely spacious, which is great for a large group (and all of the appliances work!). The bedrooms are great and there wasn't anyone without a bed in our group. The hot-tub jacuzzi in the backyard was clutch for post-skiing therapy. You could walk to Pizza Jerks (great local pizzeria) and two of the better bars in Killington, Jax and Pickle Barrel. If you call a Killington Taxi/shuttle service, they know exactly where you are and aren't confused by some obscure address in the middle of the woods. You're literally right on the main drag. Plenty of parking in the driveway for a fleet of cars so you don't have to worry about blocking the early risers who are headed to the mountain for first tracks.

Overall, I don't think there is much more you can ask from a home or a New Year's experience than the one we had at the Tuck-it-Inn. Thanks Joe!

I have to say that we have rented many homes in Killington over the past 10yrs. but the Tuck It Inn takes the cake. The owners were a pleasure to deal with and are very resposive and accomodating from the very first email to check availability to the nice bottle of wine on arrival. This home gave our group everything we were looking for, large to spread out, warm ,cozy, newly furnished and location, location, location.

Our Boston crew's annual pilgrimage to the 'TUCK' has become a cherished winter ritual. The home's huge kitchen, two living rooms, large hot tub and PRIME location that is literally steps from the best nightlife in Killington. It's got everything we need in a ski house.

My friends and I have rented this cabin twice now, and we have been highly satisfied both times. Very close to Killington and Pico. Plenty of space, and a great hot tub. All in all it was another great trip, and I hope that when we take our trip again next year, that we can stay here again.
