Owner's Response: Hi Pierre,
Glad to hear that you had a nice stay (again). :o)
The security deposit was mailed back over the weekend.
Also, definitely keep us in mind for the winter. The location is perfect (that is the reason we actually bought this house.)
Thanks again and hope you have a great rest of summer!!!!

good big family vacation

Review Submitted: August 9, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We have enjoyed a week of vacation with the extended family in this chalet. There was room for everyone (11 of us). The location of the chalet was excellent, close to the mountain, Storyland and the supermarket was right around the corner. Everything works in the chalet. We made good use of the gas grill, and the kids had a good time playing the board games and video games found there. The lower level can be quite damp. A little better ventilation would be helpful. We ended up opening the windows to improve the ventilation. Overall, we had a good time.

Pam,
Thanks again for another great stay! It had everything we needed which makes travelling with kids so much easier.
This year we added Clarks Trained Bears to the Story Land trip, and all the kids enjoyed it. You're truely in a great location!

March weekend

Review Submitted: March 24, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
Hi Pam
Just arrived home from spending a delightful weekend at the Linderhof Chalet. I must say that you have a lovely home. It's so secluded but close to everything.
Your house is well stocked and we loved the wood stove. Didn't have a problem with it as we've used them before.

Hi Pam --
Good morning !
Sorry I got back to you so late as I was pretty tired after all that driving back home.
We had a great stay at the chalet. It was very homey and comfortable and we all took pictures along with the chalet as a memory to cherish. I have left more of our comments in the guest book.
Thanks and have a great day
Sameer

chalet rental

Review Submitted: August 26, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
Hi Pam,
The place up in NH was excellent - my family had a blast up in the White Mountains. The weather was great all week, thankfully - and the nights cooled off nicely so that it was comfortable to sleep. My 10 year old son Keegan loved the location of the Chalet in the mountains. Took a lot of walks/hikes in search of bears (and other wildlife) since we stumbled on some fresh bear tracks early one morning just past the driveway in the sand on the side of the road. One of the neighbors said a big bear visits her bird feeder regularly, even going up on her porch to get there!
We packed a lot of adventure into our stay over the course of the week, and the kids wanted to stay even longer - which is always a good sign that they were having fun. Anyway, sorry for the long e-mail - I think we wrote something in the guestbook if you want to hear more (lol!). Thanks so much for sharing your place with us.Thanks again Pam!!

Weekend in July

Review Submitted: August 19, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
Hi Pam,

The weekend went great and we loved the place. We golfed on friday and did the saco on saturday. I am def interested in renting again because the area and the house is great. We also saw a fox in the backyard which was incredible.

Thank you so much for everything.
Peter
Owner's Response: Hi Peter,
Glad you had a good time up at our house.
That's funny about the fox.. he usually stops by for a visit, but since we have done over the yard, seems he has been coming by alot more---everyone that has rented the last few weeks has seen him--apparently he really likes the new yard!
Definitely keep my info for future rentals-- summer or other seasons.. and as we spoke about, great location for skiing too! ~Pam

Hi Pam,
We had a wonderful time at your home. The weather improved each day we were there so we were able to do lots of fun things with the kids. We visited some other friends renting in NH and I have to say that your house scores high above any other than we have seen. The house is so clean and there is so much space. We never felt on top of each other and the kids had lots of room to play. We saw the fox a few nights during the week. He was usually waiting in the driveway. My husband even saw a bear in the neighbor's driveway. The back yard looks great, we said we can't wait to be able to use it next year!!! Thank you again for renting the house to us.

Donna
Owner's Response: Hi Donna,
I am so glad to hear you had a nice vacation. Thanks for all the nice compliments on the house-it's nice to hear feedback. :) Also, quite a few people have mentioned the fox and the bear.. I think the fox must really like the new lawn. :) :)
Thanks again for renting with us, and looking forward to hearing from you next year, or even over the winter! :)

great family gathering spot

swp Warwick, RI, USA
Review Submitted: July 1, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
We had a great time at the Chalet with our extended family. The place was clean and had everything we needed plus more. The kids had fun playing in the games and xbox, and loved staying in the bunk beds, although the top was off limits since there was no railing. We loved gathering around the large table while cooking dinner each night. It was so close to Storyland we were able to come home for lunch and naps for our 2 1/2 year old, but only by car as I wouldn't want to walk up the mountain. The adults enjoyed the Zip Rider at Wildcat for our own little adventure. Shopping in North Conway was a bargain as well.
Pam was wonderful in every contact we had, either by email or phone. We had a wonderful time and will return again in the future. I've already recommended the Chalet to friends!
Owner's Response: Glad to hear you had such a nice stay at our "home away from home", and glad you had fun at Storyland!!
Funny you mention about the railings on the bunks-we specifally didn't want them because we didn't want anyone to have a "false sense of security"---the little ones can be very daring! :)
Hope to hear from you (and your friends) soon!
