We really enjoyed our stay! Everything was very clean and the house was great. Our stay was very nice and we liked being so close to everything. Wonderful family time with all of us together! I would highly recommend these units (A,B,C) to anyone! thank you Jon & Tammy

This beach house did not let us down. This is the third year in a row that we stayed here for the Rock-N-Roll 1/2 Marathon. Much nicer than a hotel.

We vacationed here with our extended family, age range from 9-70 The cottage was wonderful for my inlaws as it gave them a quite refuge from the kids. The house was set up nicely and was nice and clean. The location is awesome, it is as close as you can be to the beach without being in one of the high-rise hotels. Much more homelike and relaxing than any hotel. We enjoyed many dinners and evenings in the beautiful private backyard. The owner was wonderful and checked in a couple of times to make sure everything was ok. This is a great place to stay!

Had a great vacation, including an early Christmas celerebration, since our family came from 3 differnt continents and we won't see each other for a long time. Good Shepard Luthern Chirch offered good services. Murphys's was a good restaurant, and the Red Robin was fun for all. Having all three apartments worked great for the different family groups. The beach and water were great, the street entertainers during our walks were great. Danke schous, gracias. Thank you

My extended family of 13 rented units A, B, and C for our vacation. They met our needs perfectly. It was nice that we each had our own space, yet were still close. The home and cottage are just 2 blocks from the beach and boardwalk, and close to countless other attractions. From ages 5 to 65, everyone was happy and had something to do. It was great to be able to grill out and use the outdoor tables and backyard to eat and enjoy the evening. The basement laundry ($2.00 to wash / $2.00 to dry / bring quarters) and the clothesline outside were convenient. Also provided were coolers, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, and boogie boards, some of which were new and all of which were in good to great condition. I felt we had much more space and many options and conveniences that we would not have had in a hotel or condo. My security deposit was returned quickly. The owner, Jon, was easy to deal with and replied to emails very quickly. The units were clean and well-appointed. I would recommend this property to a friend.

I have rented the entire "compound" for the past few years for my running program participants. We run in the Rock-n-Roll Half Marathon in VA Beach over Labor Day weekend.

The property has always been in immaculate condition and very tastefully decorated! What is fantastic for our group is that the "compound" offers three different sets of lodging (upstairs, downstairs and cottage). So I can put runners in a variety of rooms and living arrangements which provides great flexibility for our group (year in, year out).

The location of the property is fantastic- the beach is so close...only 2 blocks away. My runners can also walk to the starting line for the half-marathon.

You never need to use your car- all the restaurants, bars and even grocery shopping are all just blocks away!

Jon and Tammi provide beach chairs and an assortment of beach items that you can borrow on a daily basis. There is also an on-site washer/dryer (which is perfect for those with little children who tend to spill/stain regularly).

We have had a tremendous experience each year and have found Jon to be easy to deal with.

Most importantly- the units are CLEAN! And the location is superb!
