A Bit of Heaven

L, L. and S. Portland - Williams Oregon USA
Review Submitted: February 7, 2008 Date of Stay: January 2008
What a beautiful home. This was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had. The biggest decision was "Do we go to the beach, or sit by the pool?" We usually did both. The home was fully equipped with everything we needed. Just needed to make a stop at the local store for groceries. Weather was ideal, sunsets were beautiful. Make sure to go for a "Happy Burger"....just down the road a bit. We did take a side trip to Ponce...a couple of hours away. Beautiful countryside. We will come again.
Owner's Response: Thank you very much for your great re-view. We really strive to make sure any one who stays in our Villa have a wonderful experience.

Casa Ensenada was great!

Local Tourists Gurabo, Puerto Rico
Review Submitted: August 27, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2009
We rented this property the weekend of July 24th and loved it! The house is extremely beautiful and well kept. It met all the description that had been provided. The kids loved the pool and we, the adults, loved it at night. The beaches are all very accessible. I totally recommend this property for those who don't mind being not being in a beachfront property. Thank you for a great time!

We came back to a piece of Heaven

Sandra & Dad and Mom Portland, Oregon
Review Submitted: February 22, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
This is our second visit to this beautiful home and island. It truly is a special place.
The owners have supplied this home with everything you will need. All you have to do is stop by the local Econo grocery store and stock up on groceries.
The house and landscaping are very well maintained. We really enjoyed all the bright colors of the plants.
The outside shower is a great addition. We never even used the inside shower. It was a real experience taking a shower and looking up at the moon and stars.
We did a bit more travelling this time. We took an hours drive to Cabo Rojo Lighthouse. We visited the Salt Flats with interpretative exhibitions on the way. Don't let the dirt road or the pot holes discourage you...just dodge the holes...what is at the end is well worth the drive. Not only was the lighthouse something to see (they do have tours thru the lighhouse on certain days), but the beach we found below was beautiful. White sand and colors of blue you won't forget. We went back twice during our stay. Make sure you go to the end of the dirt road to be able to see the beach. Watch for the conch stand on the left hand side on the way back. Beautiful conches and very inexpensive.
We enjoyed several sunsets at the Hotel Villa Confresi. Their bar and outside seating were just perfect for watching the sun drop into the ocean. Food was good and the coconut drinks very special.
We found The English Rose for breakfast/brunch a place not to be missed. The food was outstanding. The road is a bit narrow, but worth the drive.
Don't forget Happy Burger for a burger you won't forget.
We had fun watching the surfers on the patio of Tamboo.
Don't miss the lighthouse in Rincon. It has been revamped and is beautiful. It is another place to see beautiful sunsets.
Playa Oeste is an art gallery and gift shop within walking distance of the house...just right around the corner. They have a wide variety of first class items to purchase.
The Farmer's Market in the square is held the first and third Sunday of the month and interesting to see the local produce and goods.
There is so much to do in and around Rincon. Fishing, para sailing, surfing, shopping, eating, or just relaxing by the pool or going to the beach. This home and island have so much to offer. There is something for everyone...young or old. It is the most relaxing vacation we have ever taken.
We hope that you enjoy your stay as much as we have.

We wanted to thank you for a beautiful place to stay while we were in Rincon. We will highly recommend your Villa for our family and friends. When we come back we will be staying at your place again. The pool made it great on the nice hot days. We didnt have to go to the beach everyday if we wanted to be near the water. Very private.
We loved it!!!
Thanks again

The best house in the west side, beautiful floor plan, excellent pool, simply incredible. Walking distance to heaven. The bad part was when we left, we didn't want it!. Excellent food and friendly people surround the gorgeous town of Rincon. Hard to find other property with all the ammenities like this one. Better than the description.

La magia di Casa Ensenada

annatoni Buenos Aires
Review Submitted: July 18, 2008 Date of Stay: February 2008

Spring Break Getaway, 03/08

Go Hawks!! Iowa City, Iowa, USA
Review Submitted: July 4, 2008 Date of Stay: March 2008
"We made our first visit to Puerto Rico, my wife and I landed in San Juan late
on Wed eve, spent a half day in San Juan exploring old town and then drove to
the laid back town of Rincon on the west coast side of the Island. If you like
lots of traffic, crowds and touristy things, stay in San Juan. If you wish to
rent a beautiful home with a pool, near beaches, coffee shops and nice
restaurants, then this would be a great place for your vacation. The owner was wonderful to deal with and the
folks he has caring for his place are 1st class. While we were there we
experienced wonderful snorkeling as the sea was as calm as glass, to a major
wave condition where the best surfers in the world flew into the island to take advantage of
30 foot swells. Only one of our four kids was able to join us later in the
week and it was very convenient to pick him up at the Aguadilla Airport. There is
a folksy local map of Rincon that can be ordered online and we found it was very
helpful to get your bearings. Very easy to get around once you get the lay of
the land, but dark twisty roads if you are new the the area. GPS was
useless as roads were so twisting, the little voice was constantly stating she
was trying to recalculate our position. The house was extremely comfortable,
very safe, no bugs during our stay. There were some barking dogs from a
neighbors house but not enough that I would not hesitate to return. Next time,
less San Juan and more Rincon. We could not have had a better first vacation to
Puerto Rico and I thanked the owner for allowing us to stay at his home. I told him I would be happy to be a referral and I am sure he would provide my e mail
address or phone number.

Iowa City, Iowa"

Great House for Families and Friends

redfly New Hampshire
Review Submitted: June 21, 2008 Date of Stay: February 2008
We had an amazing vacation- the house was perfect. There were 2 families in our party (four adults and four children) and each family took one floor. Our hardest decision was where whould we eat: your patio or ours. Having a pool with children is a HUGE plus. They must have spent hours in there every day. We loved cruising around to the different beaches in the area, coming home and cooking up some dinner. We had everything we needed. We loved having access to the internet and the ipod ready stereo. Nice touches!
