Great House

We just returned from our family vacation in Feb 2009! The owner's were great to work with and responded quickly from E-mails prior to vacation to phone calls while on vacation. It housed our group comfortably everyone had a bed and the beds were comfortable. Our 9 yr. old loved the video games. The 7 yr. old & 4 yr. old loved the children's extra play bins with toys already provided. We traveled with 18 other family members and we were able to group up to have family meals and spend lots of family time in a comfortable setting. We definitely would rent again in the future. The house is a great location less than15 minutes to Elk and a 20 minute drive to downtown Scranton. It was a very quite neighborhood didn't even need the skiing to feel like on vacation the vacation home would of been good enough. Overall, we had a good experience, the owner is very easy to work with and responsive to help correct any concerns you may have. It felt like your own vacation home away from home that when ever we purchased an additional item for the house either a game or puzzle but we left those items behind for the next family to enjoy. We enjoyed the vacation and in turn we didn't mind leaving items behind for the next family to use. I would love to rent this house in the summer as the house is right on a beautiful lake. We already have our plans for this summers vacation but hope to return in the summer of 2010 to use this house in the summer. The owners treated us basically like a family member using another family's home and added lots of memories for our three children and all the other's we traveled with.

Thank you for allowing us the use of your house. We had a great time. We really enjoyed playing the video games and the spacious kitchen and table to play card and board games. The amount of beds and bedrooms was also great and accommodated our group well. The skiing conditions were great as well. Thanks!

Had a great time at your house. The lake is absoultly beautiful. We caught over 12 large and small mouth bass and about 7 pickerel. During the week it was like we had the entire lake to our selves because there was no one else on it. The arcade games were also a huge hit with the kids. Thanks for the great week and hope to return again next summer.

Had a great Easter vacation with extended family. Plenty of room and close to skiing. The kids all loved the gameroom.

I have rented a number of houses over the years with my family and this is one of the nicest houses we have ever stayed in. It had plenty of room for the 3 families that rented the house. It is so close to Elk and the views of the Lake is spectacular. I can just imagine what it is like in the summer. This is a must stay if you are renting near Elk Mountain as it is only a short 10 minute drive.
