Great Home for a Family Vacation

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay. There was so much space. Having a pool on the property was so convenient for those who didn't want to go to the beach. We truely had a wonderful time with our family!
Hope we can come again!

My extended family of 5 grown children, three in-law kids, 4 small grandchildren, and 3 grand babies had a most delightful visit at your lovely beach house. It was everything advertised and more. The family room is arranged in such a way that it is easy for everyone to watch TV or engage in conversation. The pool is conveniently situated and my grandchildren spent 80% of their waking time in it. One of my little granddaughters had always "dreamed" she could swim in a pool at night which she and her cousins were able to do with porch lights, pool lights, and a big bright moon hanging over them. She was so excited!!!! It is a beautifully landscaped pool with lots of toys, floats, lounge chairs, etc provided as well as lots of beach towels! The kitchen is open, spacious and the breakfast bar was the perfect spot for our little ones to eat while the "grown ups" enjoyed more leisurely meals at the wonderful, even elegant dining room table. Everything is excellently maintained and beautifully decorated. The bedrooms were gorgeous and we had to have a "drawing" for the master bedroom which was truly upscale. We had a minor issue with operating the TV, called the owners, and they promptly returned our call and a technician was there the next day. We even got some extra quiet time when the children played in the third floor "game room". The quaint "carriage house" on the other side of the pool provided nice privacy for several of the adults in our party. One of my sons-in-law loves an early morning run and could leave the carriage house without disturbing anyone although the house must be very well insulated because I did not hear much noise going on anywhere when I slept on the first floor across from the adorable "bunk room" where four of my small grandchildren slept. The beach was a couple blocks away but a golf cart was provided which the children absolutely loved riding in and it certainly helped in transporting all the beach toys and blankets. The neighborhood added to the ambience of the whole beach retreat. The water really was crystal clear. Great shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores are close by. My daughter and I enjoyed a little outing to the brand new outlet mall. I wish you could see the video my daughter put together because it just makes me want to go back there tomorrow. I highly recommend this lovely, delightful, immaculate home where wonderful memories will be made! We plan to go back next year and can hardly wait!!!

The home is amazing. Comes with all the amenities and then some. The pool made a perfect gathering place for all and you really did not feel as though you needed to go anywhere. Outstanding time was had by all and we are already planning a return in 2010

Our first visit to Destin turned into our best family vacation ever! The Crystal Beach House was breath taking and had everything we needed and more! We were a family of 4 families with 5 children under 5 and we had plenty of room. There were 2 master suites that easily accomodated pack n plays in them and the 3 older kids loved the double bunk bed room. The very large pool was the perfect place to relax and play with the kids. The very large steps into the pool were perfect for the babies to touch and play in the water. The safety alarms on the doors gave us all such a peace of mind. The beach was an easy walk and even easier with the golf cart to carry all our stuff. The beach was the most beautiful one I have ever been on in the United States. We loved eating at the Lobster Trap on the beach and the kids loved it too. We ate most of our meals in the house since we had young children with us and it was easy to do in the large, well equiped, very modern kitchen. As others have remarked in earlier reviews, the owners are as wonderful as the house is beautiful. They truly make the whole experience the best you can get. You feel like you are renting from a very dear friend. We are already trying to figure out how soon we can get back to "our" wonderful Destin vacation home!

We stayed the week of August 15th thru the 22nd. 10 adults and 4 little ones. House is beautiful, cozy and inviting! It's the perfect house for family/friend vacations. Every amenity that you could ever want is available. The pool (hands down) is the most beautiful/functional pool-hot tub we've ever seen. Everyone commented that if ever they added a pool to their home this pool would be the model. A short walk up the street to a beautiful beach. House is close enough to the shopping, restaurants and attractions but far enough away from traffic noise. This house is the jewel in a quiet neighborhood of well-maintained homes. The owners are fantastic people who answer all your questions thoroughly and promptly. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place.
Sadly, we had to pack up and leave at the end of the week. But then, there's always next year!

Our family had to vacation the last week of April due to different schedules, but it was the perfect time to go. The house was everything and more than we imagined. We felt at home at this house and the owners were so helpful. The golf cart made going to the beach so easy. Honestly, I can't think of one single thing I would change about that place. I would recommend this house to anyone who loves to vacation in Destin like my family does. No more condos for us!!! We will definitely rent this house again and I can hardly wait.

We had an amazing time at Crystal Beach House. There were 14 of us plus a baby and toddler. it was perfect!! Everything we could imagine was there for us. The child's nook bed was wonderful, "the princess bed" as my granddaughter called it. The carriage was a nice extra and the house itself was amazing. The short walk to the beach was so easy and the golf cart really came in handy for both sightseeing and going to the beach. i would definately recommend this house and want to thank you for sharing such a beautiful place with us!!

Celebrating a 50th and 25th wedding anniversaries at the Crystal Beach House could not have been better! The description/pictures of the property were very accurate. The house was clean, neat and well organized. As we planned on cooking several meals, we took kitchen items, such as a crock pot and utensils, but it wasn't necessary as all were supplied. When there was a problem with a bed in the cottage, the maintenance people were there that afternoon to repair it. The location was great. (Only one regret as to shopping, don't go to Walmart on Saturday night!) Our family of thirteen would have loved to of stayed another week and hope that we can return in the future to enjoy the house, pool and beach. All of us recommend this house and if you enjoy it half as much as we did, you'll have a great time! Sharron
