The House Was Great!

Our family had a wonderful time at this LBI beach house. It is in a fabulous location. We parked our cars on the first day and didn't use them until we left. Everything you need is within walking distance. The house was wonderful and well maintained. The kitchen was equipped with everyhing we needed, the porch was great for meals and just sitting out and the living spaces are plenty large for big groups. A bathroom in most bedrooms was a real luxury for a beach house. Everyone had a great time. We would highly recommend this house for large groups.

My family recently rented this house for a family reunion and it was perfect. The location was great and the house was neat and clean. It is really close to the beach and great shopping. The kitchen and dining areas were even large enough for us to prepare and hold a family dinner in (even with 20 people). We'll definitely be back.

My fondest memory of our spring fling was enjoying a leisurely lunch on the veranda of this delightful home. Not a stuffy old house, but rather a friendly, kick your shoes off and chill out place where everyone has plenty of personal space. Well-equipped, nicely maintained, very clean with that fresh seashore feeling. Close to grocery market, pharmacy, and the Chocolate Bar that makes the very best iced Latte. I would highly recommend this property for family and friends who want to enjoy a very easy, relaxed week. I currently am planning for week's stay in 2009.

What a wonderful house! My family rented the house for a week. We had 6 children under the age of 5 & 10 adults in our group. We were very satisfied with the house. It was spotless, which is really important when there are babies crawling on the floors. The beach was beautiful & all the family attrations were within walking distance. My sisters & I love to cook, so the large kitchen (w/lots of pots & pans) & the 2 grills were a big plus. We can't wait to go back next year!

Beach house was VERY CLEAN. We had 19 people for the weekend to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary. We had enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone. Kitchen had all the essentials that we needed to cook for 19 people. Beach is about a block away.

If I go back to Beach Haven I would try to stay here again.

Every year our family rents a big beach home along the coast. Normally, it is a great experience. However, this year, I was greatly displeased with our stay at this facility/beach "cottage." The home was so DIRTY! Floors turned your feet black, light bulbs for bedside lamps were burnt out in most of the bedrooms, the refridge had old food particles left in it, there were no bath mats to step out onto after showering (had to put your feet on a dirty floor), and we had no toilet paper in the bathrooms. My two year old niece within 5 minutes of being there picked up a dog treat off the floor and almost ate it (“no pets allowed”). I understand this is an old home but its DIRTINESS was beyond reproach. I have never stayed in such an un-kept setting. We did complain to the property owners but we were rather surprised by their apathy.

Thus, while the town of Beach Haven was great, I would not recommend this property to those visiting the island.
