We recently stayed at this house with 3 other couples and it was GREAT. We never moved our cars and we walked to everything in downtown. The house was great, as it meet all of our needs from bedding, dishes, tv, furniture, pool etc....
In fact, I have told a lot of people about our trip were I live and sent them pictures, and they have all come back saying "WoW".
Plan to visit again! Thanks Dan

Had a wonderful week with my family "5 adults" and we were never crowded. The pool was a life saver in the late day heat. You can walk to everything in the downtown area in less than 5 minuites. 82 Queen,Cypress, Planters are just a few of the wonderful resturants you don't want to miss. Dan was a great host, the house is beautiful.

Wonderful Vacation Rental

Wonderful Girls Weekender Greenville, SC
Review Submitted: September 22, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
We recently stayed in this lovely home for a "girls weekend" and it was perfect! Everything you want to see and do is within walking distance, so no need to get in the car at all. The house itself is a wonderful juxtaposition of original features and modern technology. The kichen has everything you could possibly need, the beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are amazing! I highly recommend this property to anyone planning a visit to Charleston.

Best of Charleston

MMP Bronxville, NY
Review Submitted: May 13, 2008 Date of Stay: May 2008
My family (three couples and a single) stayed at this lovely home during May. It is all it says and more. The home is completely refurbished, beautifully decorated, inviting and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and the outside space and pool is delightful. Within easy walking distance to all Charleston has to offer plus a long driveway to park cars for plantation and beach trips. And best of all much more reasonable then staying at a hotel.

Family New Year's Eve trip

Mrs. T Brunswick, Georgia
Review Submitted: March 10, 2008 Date of Stay: January 2008
We recently stayed at this beautiful home. Everything was perfect. We took our three grown children and spouses for the week. The house is spacious enough that everyone could spread out and do their own thing. The nightlife and shopping was all within walking distance. The house was on the carriage tour and they stopped each day to talk about this unique home. The caretakers were just great, helpful if you needed something but never looking over your shoulder. New Year's Eve in Charleston has a lot to offer. We would rate this house as an "A+". Perfect in everyway.

Historic Charleston lived as a resident

Yooper Dave Marquette, Michigan, USA
Review Submitted: December 19, 2007 Date of Stay: October 2007
This lovely home allowed us to experience historic Charleston as a resident and not a tourist. The location is a walk to everything dream, and the house is truly a delight. Anyone who loves historic homes will appreciate this property, but it is old and there are squeaks in the stairs, and a few other quirks like a musty odor coming from the attic, which running the fan for the 3rd floor HVAC zone remedied. The charm far outweighs any of these small concerns, in our collective opinion. The caretakers live at the rear of the property & could not have been more helpful and were never intrusive. The pictures & descriptions on the web site are accurate. The rental is more than fair for the calibre of house in this prime location. When split among our traveling party it is cheaper than a low end motel.
