This is a magical setting. Located in enchanting Downtown Larkspur with sunny views of San Francisco Bay, Mt. Tamalpais, surrounding hills and downtown Larkspur. This craftsman style 3 level home is surrounded by charming gardens and fruit trees.

There is a shaded outdoor patio area, sunny and Wisteria shaded decks and a redwood hot tub to relax and watch the stars. Perfect after a day of touring. This charming house has a stone fireplace and wood stove.

This is a great location to take advantage of all that Marin County, the San Francisco Bay Area and Napa and Sonoma Wine country has to offer. This Home is Minutes from Larkspur Ferry, which is a great way to get to San Francisco.

Larkspur, which is out of the fog belt, was a vacation destination for San Franciscans before the Golden Gate Bridge was built.

Located on a level lot 2 blocks from the main street in Larkspur which features include cafes, 4 star restaurants and entertainment.

From the wine country in the north, the city of San Francisco just to the south, and all of the great outdoor activities available in Marin and on the Bay, this is a place you'll be just as happy to hang out and enjoy all that the Bay Area offers.

Our Larkspur Retreat is a rustic yet comfy 4+ LOFT bedroom house nestled in a sunny Larkspur. It's within walking distance of all the great dining spots in town like the Lark Creek Inn, Left Bank, and Larkspur Café Theater, Rulli's Café. It's also just a short hike to a scenic trail heads in Baltimore Canyon and King Mountain leading you to the hiker's paradise of Mt. Tamalpais, Mt. Tam Watershed and Muir Woods. Not only is this a hiker's paradise, but this is also the birthplace of mountain biking and all the great Marin mountain biking is right here. This slice of heaven is also just 10 minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge so all of San Francisco's cultural riches are a short drive or Ferry ride away. And it's also a quick trip to many other great spots such as Stinson Beach, Point Reyes National Park, Berekely, the East Bay and the Napa Sonoma Wine Country.

Why The Owner chose Larkspur

This has been a family home for the last 21 years. Now that the kids are grown it just makes sense to have the home available to Bay Area visitors so that others can enjoy what we have known for all this time.

What makes this house unique

Larkspur has been a San Francisco get away since before the Golden Gate bridge was built. It is convenient to the city of San Francisco, yet without all the hassles and noise of the city life. There are some great and I mean great restaurants a short walk into town (2 blocks). The hiking trails in Marin are phenomenal and plentiful for all levels. The best weather in the bay area and lush gardens surrund you.

Quaint Larkspur Craftsman works well for a family gathering

Although this house is on three levels it worked well for a family Easter dinner of 12 people. 5 of us stayed for 4 days at the house with an active 1 year old. The top level is a large master bedroom/bathroom/lounging area and was a wonderful retreat for the grandparents. On the day of the party everyone had a great time and there was plenty of space. The teenagers hung out in the lower level which has a wonderful patio area, the rest of the group socialized on main floor which has an open kitchen/sitting area/dining area and access to a wrap around porch. There is an other sitting area on the main floor where we watched the birds at the bird feeder and which leads to a beautiful garden. We would have spent more time on the downstairs deck but spring showers threatened and we stayed on the main floor. There is a bathroom on each level which worked well for so many people. Access into San Francisco was easy and we went in several times during the 4 days we were there, the younger members walked up to hiking trails and amazing views on the day of the party, and the next day the grandparents spent a day of wine tasting. The 1 year old had plenty of room for his toys and loved playing in the front garden as well as the large grassy area adjacent to lower level deck. Next time we gather several of the family members want to spend the weekend with us. The owners were wonderful to work with and made all kinds of accommodations for us and allowed us to have Easter family dinner. It is a family friendly house in a wonderful location.

Six adults and 4 children (12, 8, 7 and 4) traveled to Larkspur for nieces wedding. This charming home was perfect for our group. The children loved having their own space on the lower level. The backyard and driveway were great for outdoor play. House is in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to town. Had delicious donuts from Donut Alley and great Chinese take-out from DJ's. We were very luckily to find this home that had enough space for 10. The house had everything we needed (2 televisions, wireless internet, Gas Franklin stove for chilly morning) and everyone enjoyed their stay.

My daughter was more than surprised at her sibilings & spouses arrival along with me. We all LOVED your fabulous house that reminded me of a "tree house." There was plenty of sleeping space for all 10 of us. The wonderful gas Frankliln stove kept us cozy on the cool mornings. Several of us are cat lovers so Pixie (aka Miss Kittie) received a lot of loving. With my Larkspur's daughter's direction, we had a perfect tour of the City and much of the surrounding area. Out of a score of 1-10, I'd rate our stay as was a 12!! We would highly recommend this home away from home to anyone.

We had such a wonderful time in this gorgeous house. All of the amenities of home at our finger tips. It was spacious and there was plenty of room for my parents, husband and 3 babies. We all had a couple of amazing nights sleep! We would love to come back whenever we are in the area!

I got married in Larkspur this past June, and this house was the perfect bridesmaid headquarters. It was just blocks from the church and several restaurants and bars. The house was clean and well kept... Plus there were soo many places to sleep! Quaint, peaceful, & beautiful! Everything was just perfect!

We were pleasantly surprised to find this lovely 3
level home, on a quiet street, just 2 blocks from the
heart of central Larkspur, held my wife and I, our
three kids, five grandkids and one dog in absolute
comfort. Beautiful deck, which got lots of use. Lots
of cozy "one on one" areas for kids to play in or a
couple of adults to have a quiet chat. Beautifully
landscaped and maintained. Owners were a delight
to deal with. I couldn't recommend this more
highly as an ideal vacation retreat.

Wonderful, spacious 3-level house with a great view and lots of amenities. We comfortably slept 10 adults and 2 kids with room to spare. Owner was very professional with all the arrangements and I would love to stay there again!
