Can't wait to come back next year

we had a great time the place was great for the price. great for people with a family as well. would come back again!

We just spent 2 weeks at this home and we loved it!! The house is so affordable--it was nice to be able to spend your money on other things during vacation besides the place you stay in. There were 2 adults and 3 young adults in our family and there was something to do for everyone. From amusement park and arcade for children and teenagers, young adults who like the night life in taverns to adults who enjoy night life also or just want to relax and enjoy the music or stay at the house and relax. This home is for families in general- all ages. They supplied everything you could think of- full kitchen ( a larger frying pan would help though), towels, linens, a TV for playing video games on. washer and dryer, comfy furninture and not fancy so you aren't afraid to sit on it. They even provide beach chairs, beach wagon, children's boogie boards, and a cooler for the beach. All you have to bring is your clothes and yourself for this vacation. I do recommend that you rent a car and travel to other cities along the coast. The towns are only within a few minutes of each other and they all offer something. The beach and pier are only a 10 minute walk away. For other Californians, Old Orchard Beach has a Santa Cruz feel and the beaches are very crowded. But the surf is very gentle and you can actually not get plowed down by the waves as you stand out in the ocean. That was really a nice surprise!! The owners are very nice people. They attend to your every need and are extremely helpful. We would go back for sure and would not hesitate to rent the house again. The house is clean and comfortable.Be sure to check out all the info the owners have provided for what to do, where to go and how to get there. This info is located in the kitchen as you walk in. Very Helpful!!! There is alot to do in Maine and even if the weather is not the best, make the most of it and keep an open mind and you can't go wrong with the vacation. Theres so much to do in Maine, you would have to go back quite a few times to do it all. And the owners have this great lovable St Bernard "Lumpy" and our family just loved him!

We spent 2 weeks in this home and had a fantastic time! The owners thought of everything you might need. It was wonderful to have bed linens, towels, and every kitchen item you might need. On top of all this, they supplied a beach wagon, cooler, boogie boards, and beach pails for the kids. That was awesome! Great location as it is walking distance to the beach. We'd definitely come back. Affordable, clean, & comfortable! Home away from home feeling. Plenty of beds so everybody was comfortable. Owners were very nice. Close to tons of restaurants & stores. If you are there a short time, just take time to enjoy the beach and immediate area. If you have time, get a car and visit surrounding areas. We went to an amazing clambake/lobster feast on Cabbage Island...it left from Boothbay Harbor. I'd also recommend going to a local lobster shack and having them steamed...then you can make your own dinner at the cottage for a fraction of the price that fancy restaurants charge. Loved it!

We had so much fun, we were so surprised, the place had everything you would expect for the price. So nice to not have to truck your linens to the beach.Having more than one TV was great, the kids could play games while we relaxed. Laundry is a big plus. The owners are very nice always trying too see if you need anything very attentive.
We already booked for next year as you cant beat the price.

It was a great week weather wise and with the rental. Rental was quaint and comfortable w/plenty of room for 6 people, 2 adults and 4 kids. Clean and neat but furniture was older/not fancy. Linens provided and was very glad to have washer and dryer. Nice 5-10 walk to beach. Nice little neighborhood for bike riding. Would recommend for those looking for economical beach vacation as it is much more expensive to be right on the beach.

Stayed last July, had a great time , place is very close to the beach but yet just enough away from the noise. Nice quiet street. Cottage is very comfortable. Owners supply everything, actually more than any of the other cottages we have rented in the past. Advice to owners you should change the description to "House" not cottage as it is much bigger and better equipped than a cottage.

Everything is supplied even a TV for kids to play games on, which we found to be great so we could watch TV wen we wanted.

Owners have the nicest Saint Bernard, my kids want one now.

I can't say enough about this cottage. The only thing I had to supply was the food, everything else was there.
The instructions to the places to go in the area were perfect. The cottage was immaculate and also was everything that was described on the website. The owners were extremely pleasant, cordial, and helpful.
I was so pleased that I immediately booked for the next year. I cant wait to get back there.

The place is better than described. The owners were there and we actually had dinner with them. A great week all around. Even when we weren't at the beach we cooked on the grill while the kids played in the back yard. I highly recommend the experience.
