Quiet, peaceful and relaxing.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Rose Covered Cottage - the neighborhood is a perfect walking distance from the beach, town and ferry. The house itself is very comfortable and cozy with a lovely back yard for enjoying your morning coffee or afternoon ice tea. It was everything we had imagined it would be.

Wonderful stay
We enjoyed ourselves at this small, cozy cottage. My husband and I had plenty of room. It is well equipped, organized, clean, and maintained. The owner was great to work with and responded quickly to any requests. We especially enjoyed the backyard. We loved the back deck, outdoor furniture, outdoor shower, and the gas grill. It is a great location for an easy walk to town and beaches. We did not bring our car and were able to walk to restaurants in town.

Excellent Stay!
We were so pleasantly impressed by the cottage and everything about it. All the details were thought out and amazingly arranged. The location could not have been better and we will be back next year! The linens, the outdoor area and the immaculately stocked kitchen all combined to give us a wonderful Nantucket vacation. Thanks again!

A Little Gem
This tiny Nantucket cottage is a gem. It is in an ideal location, so it is very easy to walk into town or walk to the beach. It is on a beautiful street, surrounded by many nice homes tucked behind high hedges. It has a small but tidy back yard and deck, with a fantastic outdoor shower.
The kitchen and living room are combined, and you can seat 4 or 5 for dinner. The AC works well for hot days, and there are several flat screen TVs as well as wifi to keep you in touch with the outside world.
We made use of the beach chairs and went to all of the beaches during our week here. It is also a great location to bicycle from.
The only thing that was not perfect for us, was that due to the size of the kitchen, all of the cupboards are full of plates, so there is no place to store food other than in the refrigerator. Being a cook, that was a negative, but there are many great restaurants and places for take-out, as well as a back yard grill to make use of, too.
We would highly recommend it to all!

Adorable!!
We spent 3 nights at this adorable cottage over Memorial Day weekend.
It slept 4 girls comfortably (we are from NYC and are used to smaller quarters).
We grilled out every night and ate outside in the backyard. The cottage is only a 5 minute walk to the center of town and we never had to take a cab. It is also a short walk to Jetties Beach and the lighthouse.
One of our favorite activities was renting bikes from Young's Bike Shop and riding out to Madaket - definitely recommend Madaket Millie's for fish tacos, yum!
We will definitely be returning to Nantucket in the near future.

Even More Charming Than It Looks
Two girlfriends and I stayed here over a long weekend for a wedding in June, and we couldn't have been happier with the place. The real thing is even more charming than these pictures demonstrate, with so many thoughtful touches- tons of towels, pillows, kitchen basics, outdoor furniture, and everything spotlessly clean. It's incredibly conveniently located between beach and town, and arranging the rental was very simple. The owner also provided me with tons of restaurant suggestions, rental recommendations, directions and tips to help plan our stay, all spot on and very helpful. It's a tiny little gem.

Had a great stay!
We recently spent a weekend with our 2 young children at the cottage and it was spectacular! We had a wonderful weekend on Nantucket, and the house was absolutely perfect for our family. A short walk to town and to beaches, the location was great. We grilled out in the backyard, and the kids loved the outdoor shower. Great weekend away!

Perfect Romantic Cottage!
Just LOVED this cottage! My husband and I stayed during Labor Day and the week after in 2009. It's the perfect size for 2 or 4 who don't mind close quarters!
The cottage was immaculately clean, the bed was so comfortable, the kitchen well stocked. We had everything we needed to make a simple dinner at home.
The cottage is easy walking distance to town. I recommend Black Eyed Susan's for breakfast and we went to The Starlight Theater and Cafe nearly every day.
We will absolutely stay here again!

Honeymoon in Nantucket
We spent a few nights in Nantucket for our honeymoon in mid-September, it was a great trip! The house was a wonderful place to be and very close to everything, we walked almost everywhere. The owner gave us some great information on where to eat and what to do. We had a great time and would love to come back again, it was definitely a wonderful time!

The perfect cottage
We just returned from our wonderful week on Nantucket and we just adored this house! It's just lovely, both inside and out, and extremely well-appointed ( and very clean.) We are a family of 4 with 2 young boys and it was just the right size for us--the boys loved staying upstairs in the "loft." There is AC in every room which was fantastic, since we happened to be on Nantucket during a hot week--but at night, for the most part, we could turn it off. The location can't be beat, a short walk to town, a lovely stroll to Jetties. The owner, Robert, was very helpful and all of his advice and helpful hints were right on--places to eat, etc. loved the outdoor shower; in fact, we used the indoor shower only once. All towels, chairs, etc are provided, as well as the grill and all appliances worked perfectly. We adored this charming place and would love to return--I would also highly recommend it to a couple or a small family--it's just ideal! We were delighted!
