Hermosa Beach is 30 min from downtown L.A. and 15 minutes south of LAX'. Coastal Living and Sunset Magazines rate Hermosa a top beach. Casitas del Mar is an exquisite home on the beach located in the finest area of Hermosa Beach. The views are breathtaking. It is a 2 minute walk to delightful restaurants open morning to night as well as a convenience store. It’s an 8 minute walk to Pier Plaza with a large variety of restaurants and shopping. Target, Nordstrom at South Bay Galleria Mall, and Costco are within a 7-15 minute drive.

The Casita is designed in luxurious Tommy Bahama style. The home has a fresh full kitchen with granite countertops. The bedrooms and bathroom are complete and beautifully appointed. There are fine wood floors throughout the home with wool rugs. It comes complete with absolutely everything you need.

NOTES: No parties, no pets, no smoking

Lots of interesting and fun things to do nearby: Do your workouts at 'The Yard' gym. Valley Park has a new children's playground only 1/2 mile away. Public Tennis and Basketball courts are nearby. Redondo Beach Pier and King Harbor are 2 miles away and provide all fishing and boating related activities including whale watching. Golf driving ranges, par 3 courses and miniature golf are 15 minutes away. The magnificent Donald Trump National Golf Club is a 20 minute drive.

You'll be a freeway's drive from: Los Angeles Zoo, The Getty Center, Hollywood, Malibu, Magic Mountain, Universal Studios, La Brea Tar Pits, Knott's Berry Farm, Disneyland, California Adventure, Sea World, San Diego, Santa Barbara and Palm Springs.

This is a treasue....

The Vista Casita is a treasure for those who are lucky enough to stay there for a while. My husband and I have just returned from a month of luxury by the ocean. We are already planning our return visit.

The Vista is a beautifully decorated, comfortable, home away from home. Buckita has thought of everything that will please her guests--the comfortable beds and furniture, the fine linens, the bicycles, beach chairs and towels, the fully equipped kitchen, and the aesthetic qualities of everything she has chosen for this lovely place.

The views from The Vista are one of its major attractions. The large picture windows provide views out over the sandy beach, the incoming waves and the gorgeous sunsets. The outdoor patio is perfect for relaxing on sunny days and for outside dining. It is hard to leave The Vista even to visit the many attractions of the South Bay area and the city of L. A.

Many, many thanks Buckita from two grateful guests who have loved the glorious holiday we had at The Vista. We are both looking forward to enjoying your wonderful hospitality in the near future.

a great litttle find

we had a wonderful time at this place. Close enough to the Pier to walk but far enough away from the noise. Martha's steps away for killer breakfasts and the bottle inn for great italian food and great ambiance. The landlord will do almost anything to ensure you enjoy your stay. Most fun was riding provided bikes on the strand and watching sunsets from patio. I ended up extending my stay 2 nights because I loved it so. The house is small but has everything you need. Nice TVs in both bedrooms and in the living area and 2 big picture windows to gaze onto beach. The stairs up to the house are a little steep so if you have elderly people, might want to keep that in mind. The price is fantastic considering the quality of the home and its furnishings and its location. My family will be back for sure.
