The condo is all it says it is and more. The views from the lanai of the ocean and surfers, along with the sea turtles and fish, was incredible. I loved everything about Kona Bali Kai. The staff was very friendly and the entire building was clean and inviting. If you don't like this rental, you are crazy!! I will return again as soon as I can. When you go, don't forget Da Poke Shack, on the premises, the food there is excellent.

One of the best vacations ever!

We loved the location, far enough from the hustle and bustle but certainly close enough to go whenever and wherever you wanted without too long a drive. We snorkelled and went to see the active volcano which was a beautiful scenic drive from the condo. We would definitely stay here again. It was definitely the best equipped out of all the condos we have ever stayed in. I don't think we sat in the living room ever, spending all our time on the lanai, enjoying the view. Thank you for having this wonderful condo available.

Hard to leave the lanai

The condo was as promised. Clean & well stocked with everything we needed to have a lovely vacation! The wonderful chaise lounge on the lanai was my favorite spot. Watching surfers, the boats & the surf was hypnotic and so relaxing! This is not a new, fancy complex but if you are looking for oceanfront and well-maintained, this is your place! Renee even supplies boogie boards, umbrella, & a cooler so you are all set to go to the beach. Spices & condiments in the kitchen really were a bonus! Our only wish was that we had booked for a longer stay! Wonderful!

This trip was our fifth time to stay at Kona Bali Kai and our first in this condo. This was absolutely our best stay ever. The condo is fantastic with great views and crashing waves which make it very easy to fall asleep nightly. There were turtles daily in the tide pools and on the rocks below - whales sighted out in the ocean. Renee went out her way to make our stay even better by arranging a late check out time due to a late flight home. We look forward to coming back here again and again!

The condo is absolutely beautiful. We are just packing up our belongings and hate to see our stay come to an end. We enjoyed the great sunsets, spotting whales and dolphins from the lanai. Turtles down at the waters edge were in abundance. We could not wish for any better location, the view is unreal. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you may need. We felt totally at home just minus the cold weather.
Renee is super nice to deal with and we look forward to coming back to the islands and staying here again.

Amazing Kona getaway on the oceanfront!

This is our 13th year of staying in this condo! We obviously love it. It is truly our home away from home. We love having meals on the Lanai and watching the turtles, whales, spinner dolphins and surfers. The condo has everything you need in the kitchen. The washer and dryer is new this year. The beds are comfortable. The sound of the waves are so soothing to sleep to. The unit has air conditioning but this august we haven't turned it on once! The owners are always accommodating and easy to work with. You will love your stay!!

Home away from home!

The condo was truly more than we expected! The beds were comfy and the furnishings were stylish! The lanai was our additional get away besides just being in Hawaii! We enjoyed all of our meals outside watching the surfers and searching for the turtles. This condo truly has all the conveniences! The kitchen had spices as well as nice appliances. I have never stayed in a condo where there were beach chairs, mats, ice chests and boogie boards for our use!! The covered parking was also nice since our car was never parked a mile away and was kept cool. As for the Poke Shack downstairs....Awesome sums it up! Poke was excellent! When I didn't feel like cooking we just ran downstairs! Owners, Frank and Renee, are also fabulous! Correspondence with them was very prompt! We will be back and staying in condo #411!!! Thanks Frank and Renee for sharing your wonderful condo!

A delightful week in Paradise

We spent a restful week letting the sound of waves lull us to sleep each night and absolutely delighting in the view from the lanai of this comfortable and well-equipped condominium. I would recommend it without reservation to anyone seeking an oceanside sanctuary. It is near excellent snorkeling sites and cooking our evening meal at the water's edge was a real treat.

I'm sorry I did not get to this sooner. The owners were so kind to us. I have to say that this condo was a highlight of our stay in Hawaii. The location was great (right by the elevators), and the view was amazing. Although we didn't cook very often the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. I can't say enough about the ocean view and the furnishing were nice and cozy. I definately would stay here again and recommend it to others.

We just finished a wonderful week on the island of Hawaii. The highlight of our vacation was the opprotunity to stay at thyis location. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed. The view was OUTSTANDING. The owners were very responsive to our needs. Noithing could have been better.
